Pint of socks instructions
I've just added an extra colour to my spreadsheet so I can see "ordered and arrived" versus "ordered and not yet arrived" versus "ideas but not ordered". I love being an Excel nerd! And as always I recommend dealextreme.com for gadgety gifts. I don't work for them but I think they're awesomeHalfcost.co.uk have some DVD box sets for cheap at the moment too if any of your men are into Alien and Predator.
thank you for the link.
Oh thats a good idea about the colours for your spreadsheet. I was thinking of adding color for finished/not finished so I can see who is left to buy for.0 -
For the pints of socks i always use 2 pairs of socks and 1
cream flannel there on my blog if you want to have a look
Im a follower of your blog so have seen them on there, thats what finally made me decide to do them as they look so fab! I think I will have an experiment with socks/flannel combinations nearer the time and see what I think looks best. Going to try and source some pint glasses in the meantime!0 -

so they're out all Christmas. I think they're too cute to just appear on Christmas day! :rotfl:
I don't have a spreadsheet. I don't like Excel heh. I have a list in Rough Draft with people and ideas and just cross out presents as they're bought / made.0 -

i just use a notebook, got a small one in my bag for what i want to buy for people/already brought and a bigger one at home where i write down prices and rrp's did this last year and i was amazed at how much i had saved. i use a spreadsheet for keeping track of how much i have with my survey accounts, clubcard and consumer pulse. i saw about the reindeer flannels last year but dont knw what they are or how to make them could anyone explain please? or if there is a thread on them, thanks. got a good deal this morning, 3 issues of a computer magazine for £1 with a free toolkit, magazines are going towards my uncles present and toolkit towards either brother's or dad. will feel me organized after i have been on holiday can get on with wrapping and sorting boxes out then.0

could you not do him a gardening hamper? some gardening tools, seeds ect some books maybe? i did one for my ds nana last year, got a gardening bag with kneeling pad and tools of ebay and a book on gardening, now is probably the best time to start looking too as sales will be on,

I agree about the gardening hamper, new gardening gloves and tools, loads of interesting seeds and herbs maybe something like those hanging this for growing tomatos etc. a garden ideas book? plant food. I'd probably look here http://www.lakeland.co.uk/F/C/garden for interesting garden things. They sometimes have good offers on unusal things.
or a subscription to a gardening mag? not sure how into it he is so not sure if thats a good idea or not0
