Hamper Container? Christmas/Birthdays
I was in Sainsburys earlier in the week and they have coloured enamel buckets blue/green/pink (and other metal children's gardening stuff) at 75% off.
I thought maybe they would make quirky 'hampers' for gifts...eg for a gardener, with packets of seeds in, could be used as candle holders, or even with packets of 'retro' sweets for kids...
and I am sure some of you can come up with fab ideas
They're not on line but these are the colours...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Today I bought Christmas wrapping paper, a Christmas present for my friend and bits and pieces I'll need for making Sock Monkey's and Flannel Reindeer
I'm quite enjoying being organised!

Okay so Christmas organising for today:
*Finish sock money for youngest sister
*Write 10 Christmas cards
*Quick practise run of some choccies (well I've never done chocolates at home so better do a test batch right?!!)
*Get started on HM jewellery set for DHs Nanna
I think that'll be as much as I can do today as DS is in a bit of a mischievious moodMight not even get through all those things but thats the plan!

went in card factory yesterday and they had diary's and calenders for 2011, at 99p the diary's are really nice for the price had loads of differents colours. the calenders have a memo whiteboard on top also for 99p, so got my dad his diary and mum her calender sorted thats 2 more presents off the list. and my avon order came on friday so my auntie and uncle are also sorted, ordered 2 perfumes off the low spend freebies board for my other 2 aunties, getting there now. also the card factory had gift bags 3 4 a £1 for big ones or 4 for a £1 smaller ones.0

I've been feeling very Christmassy/celebratey the last couple of days, and have:
-finished all the shopping
-collected all the emergency gifts together
-wrapped all the birthday gifts for birthdays between now and December (except one, which I only ordered two days ago)
-made a list of people to receive Christmas cards
-collected their addresses
-started planning Christmas breakfast/lunch/dinner
-ordered all the gifts my husband will be giving :rotfl:
-ordered all the birthday gifts I'll be giving next year:rotfl: - in my defence I found some amazing deals on dealextreme.com and covered all birthdays for £65ish.
-put my name down to help organise a charity bakesale happening in my town and made vague plans to make snowman soup/reindeer poop packages to sell because my baking is Not Great.
This afternoon I plan to finish wrapping the Christmas presents so they're done and out of the way :eek:0 -
They do and it's free, but remember that if the value of your parcel is over £36 then you're liable for customs duty so make multiple orders if you're planning to spend above that amountOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
Three gifts left to buy0
