Hello, thought I would join in though I feel a bit rubbish seeing people having all birthdays and christmas wrapped up already!
Bought a few bits for DH todaythe last few days: stockingfillas - a bottle decanter gadgety thing (£1Tescos), Guess the town game (£2.50Nottutts), portable BBQ(£6.75 Nottcutts).
Bits for granchildren - Disney princess perfume (£3-99ea TKMaxx), extenable scented erasers in pretty colours (20p ea Tescos), toy story sticker books (£1 Asda)
DD Groovy Girl princess (£10 amazon), wooden doll family (£6 TKMaxx), little fairy for her stocking (£1 TKMx)
Also picked up some good half price bargains in Lakeland for cooking/gardening enthusiasts; some garden bits in Asda for as little as 13p!; a few half price items from Hawkins and one or two ebay bargains (e.g.cake tin for £3 that is worth about £25). Finally today got my friend a new baby pressy reduced by 25% in Boots.
I know this year it will be my boy I am stumped for - Dr Who figures are like flippin' gold dust which is what he wants (especially AmyP) and Toy Story things are also scarce.
Oh well I have started and that's the main thing.

I'm having a creative Christmas this year! Been browsing threads and so far have decided on Sock Monkey's for parents and sister (this MAY get bumped off as I have to hand sew them. I've started practising though so hopefully I'll be okay!), Towel Cakes for both my nana's and I've decided to make Flannel Reindeer but no idea who for yet :rotfl:0

Hi All, I read this thread yesterday and admittedly thought you were all mad lol although after reading the thread and switching off the laptop to go to sleep my mind started running away with itself thinking about bloody christmas! so I thought hell why not join them he he x
I popped into Home Bargain on the way home and got loads of great gifts spending £35 but on bits which will be the start of 7 peoples hampersgot 3 mini bottles of jacques cider for £2 which I thought was great loads of nice bath/shower things for 99p each and some High School Musical/Ben 10 things for the kids!
I usually start around october anyway coz I flatly refuse to go into Liverpool city centre in Nov/Dec as its just manic! I usually leave these two months to eat and drink while watching others panic lol x0 -

I've not used either of those sites so can't personally recommend them."Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0
