    I've been Money Tipped!
Fwiw, I like travel size bottles rather than new products: I like to take tried and tested things with me, just in case! If I am taking hold luggage, even if for a weekend, I take a whole bottle of each of my two most important hair products and stuff. If I'm hand luggage only, I tend to buy new bottles of some stuff, e.g. frizz ease, airside, as travel bottles tinyness of such vital ingrediants scare me!

I had to nip into Boots today to buy some travel sized bits for the holidays. I bought Aussie shampoo and conditioner and toothpaste. And I didnt buy any S&G stuff or anything else! The bad news is I went into the attic to get my suitcase and spotted a cardboard box that I didnt recognise. My heart sank when I looked inside. It looks like a stash belonging to DD. I gave up after retreiving a bag with about 30 nail varnishes in it. I have no idea how it got up there! Will deal with it on my return.

I know this sounds so tight, but sav the bottles and bring them home, so that you can refill them from the stash on the next trip. I have been known to tip out rubbish hotel minis and refill with the stuff I use at home.

nothing else been used up at all today, but about to have a shower and will try to use up that Loreal exfoliating treatment.

ETA- just tidied out my office and found 2x neals yard cleaners and 2x neals yard moisturisers SIGH

Might sell these actually im not keen on the smell.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
  • Well I must say I am inspired by all this, although saying that I had a huuuuuge clearout of my random bathroom basket at the weekend of all the stuff that had gone manky or that I couldn't use as it made my skin go odd.
I am now having a strict policy of using something up first then replacing it, and my worst habit ,keeping empty bottles in my baskets and drawers!
I used to have that many shampoos but then I started using Aveda Shampure and I would never use anything else now. It costs a little more but it has saved me buying loads that never seemed to work :)

I have to hang my head in shame, I thought that I had gathered everything together, then I went into the bathroom and cleared out the 2 cabinets. I've found cleansers, facial washes, conditioners, body scrubs etc. Also found a micro-dermabrasion kit that I really wanted, unused and it cost over £20!!

Took a Boots passion flower and cupuacu hand cream in a pump dispenser to work last week, I have had it nearly 2 years, all the ladies in the other offices keep nipping in for a squirt, but I have just caught my makle chauvenist boss having a quick squirt while I was making the tea.....he said it smelt nice :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Might bring in some moisturiser for him now...

I've been using that one too - smells really nice but it's a bit greasy I find. Had it since Christmas 2008. :rotfl:

So I used up the rest of that tube of body cream. Then found a sachet of intensive hair conditioner thats been rattling around as a holiday one and not used, so used it up. Found 2 really old eye pencils, straight into the bin.

Used a different bare essentials today, boy just too mmm orange! Will (may) use the rest of it up tomorrow and then gone. As I declutter the house I keep finding more stuff. An old lip balm turned up yesterday.:o

I found an old receipt yesterday, £9 for nothing, just bits and pieces in Savers...

    Keep going everyone.:A

Lol - I had a quick delve into my dressing table drawers earlier on and then wished I hadn't! Binned a few bits and pieces - dried up and ancient mascara etc. found a clinique and an Estee Lauder GWP eyeshadow both of which are unused and may go on eBay. Dug out an old Botanics create your own eyeshadow pallette which I must make the effort to attack....on the other hand I do have other - closer to being finished - eyeshadows so I may swap for one of those instead. Can't quite work out when I went from making a bit of an effort with makeup for work to slapping on a bit of foundation, having a whisk over the top with a powder brush, mnascara and lipgloss only. I've never gone for the full face of slap but I did at least used to stretch to a bit of eyeshadow! I've been wearing perfume again the last week or so though - My bottle of Cerrutti is falling fast! Might switch them around a bit - I have several to get through!
