Does anyone else match their jewellery to their clothes or make-up?
I do all the time and OH said it was silly and he doesn't know anyone who does that. Like today i have a blue t-shirt on so i'm wearing mostly clear diamond jewellery but have picked a tanzanite ring that is the exact same colour as my t-shirt.
Of course! And my sunglasses..and gloves, bag etc. and my eyeshadow/lipstick. Even nail varnish sometimes.
My no effort coordinated safe guards are either pearl/diamond studs or glod earings and wedding ring. Even when it looks as if my jewellery/make up clashes thought has gone into it.0 -
Im loving reading this thread just had a good read of it and im also guilty of hoarding smellies etc, i call it my 'supplies cupboard' LOL
Im sick of going in my wardrobe and having things fall out on me and i have to literally stuff them back in to get the doors shut, no7 and body shop all over the place LOL
I had a moan at christmas that no-one had brought me smellies and dd reminded me that i hadnt used the stuff she brought me 3 yrs ago so until i use that im not getting anything smelly wise off her LOL fair point i suppose......
So far ive used a Palmolive shower gel and a vial of shower gel up,
hey least its a start lol
Im also trying my hardest to avoid Boots as ive got over £60 on my card and would love some S&G sets, but ive still got 2 from last yrs sales under the bed aswell as 3 sets i brought this yearwhy do we do it??

Pippo, that's not good news
I hope you get something sorted soon
I've finished up 2 tubs of vitamins and almost finished a third one. I don't know why I bought them, tbh. I eat a varied diet and so must get everything I need from that and I always forget to take them anyway
A simple exfoliator - next to useless. Wouldn't buy again. I didn't feel that it made any difference at all to my skin (maybe if your skin was terribly sensitive, but even then you'd probably be better wiping your face with a muslin cloth! I took to mixing a bit of dermalogica skin prep scrub in with it.
Desperate to finish the listerine mouthwash that I've got going. There's not much left in the bottom, but I can only use a teeny bit at the one time - it's far too strong and does not taste like freshmint
Used far too much shampoo last night for my new cut :rotfl: Will take me forever and a day to use up my shampoo stash and even longer for my conditioner nowAnd I've found my favourite shampoo, they do still do it :j Was gutted when I couldn't find it - not that I'd be buying it anyway :A
I think that's everything? Haven't really been feeling great so have been neglecting my religious body moisturising, but will start that up again. It's amazing the difference these products make when you actually use them! :rotfl:0 -
the days of having a quick bath or shower have gone  but yes my skin has never felt so good either.
is it ok to exfoliate the body every day?
it's still a bit weird going out and not buying bits and bobs that take my eye. i feel so disciplinedi still have a look though.

Morning all!
I'm going to Boots today  but will try and be good.
I need the following things:
1. Tissues (Just getting over cold)
2. Razor (Shelled out on some fancy pants one and it was mince. Venus for me!)
I'm going to get some shampoo as well as I'm down to 1 bottle of shampoo and one of conditioner and it's never BOGOF when I need it, but it is in Boots at the moment. I'm going to try and resist everything else.
I'm going to be listing on Ebay this weekend as it's free on Sunday and will be selling a DKNY perfume, some Urban Decay eyeshadow that I needed at the time but don't use because I prefer MAC and one of the S&G body butters from my hatbox as I tried it once and just don't like it as much as the other one. Hopefully this will get me some more pennies to throw at evil debts

I have popped into boots a few times, but knowing I don't need anything, so far I resisted the urge
Truth is, I have everything I need. I won't buy any (and I mean it, any) body lotions until I finish the two bottles of Nivea (firming and dry skin one, rich sensation) AND the almond oil body lotion I bought in Spain in August 2008 AND the Dr. Hautschka one my OH found abandoned in Bangalore Airport December 2008 and picked up for me... that's more than enough body lotion and my cashflow is kaputt this month (still paying for the holiday in November and a deposit for a course I gave in a bankers draft last month)- I am on a seriously tight budget so that is my motivation this time.
The only thing I need is a red lipstick that is running out- I bought it for my OH's brother's wedding in September 2008- forgot about it, found it again and been wearing it for the past six months- I love it and is cheap as chips!
I am very proud of myself- we needed shower gel but I love very nice things- I spotted a bottle of Pure bath foam in Waitrose (I know...) for about 1.48 (half a litre)- bought it, took it home and poured lavander essential oil with a touch of lemon- it is lovely!! You only need a bit ofr a shower and my OH loves baths after a long day of grafting in the theatre...he felt very well cared for the other day when I run hin a bath:D
Will I be able to do it and not buy anything at all and keep my toiletries budget to zero pounds???0 -

Have you finished all your shampoo and things like that?
Must admit BOGOF are hard to resist: that's why I'm avoiding the M&S website.I went away and now I'm back.:j:j0 -
Hi ladies, pipo sorry to hear your news but hopefully your mse ways will keep you going until something fabulous comes your way.
Well i was gonna make sweetcorn fritters to go with leftovers but im in two minds cause of errands/ picking/ dropping kids all over the place. So might make a frittata with all the veggies that need eating instead. Cause then i can make it an d leave it for later rather than needing it to be eaten straight away. Ooh as usual all ideas welcome pls:D.

xxYou laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

Still enjoying Green People's Aloe shower gels. Really concentrated and smells so fresh. The M&S Royal Jelly body butter is ok. Bought a matching facial moisturiser and don't like it.:eek: Going to use it as a foot and hand cream.
Must start using some of my many face packs. :j:jI went away and now I'm back.:j:j0
