Happy Birthday Hart. I'm hoping for a bead delivery today too :)
  • Happy Birthday Hart!

Ive just recieved my delivery of beads for friends birthday bracelet and earrings... and have been on and ordered some more! Eek.

Ive gone for a burlesque theme for friends bracelet, lots of red and black, when I was bead surfing this morning I found some fab tiny little feet charms and my friend has a little son so thought one of these would be perfect on the bracelet.

I can`t believe when I was sorting the other week I binned a load of Tiara bases - they weren`t silver plated tho so tarnish really quickly, but I could have sent them on for peeps to practice on... silly me!

  • Ive just been browsing the jewellery on topshop and think the prices are:eek:!
I do like Topshop jewellery especially the big faux pearls but £18 for a metal bracelet with plastic hearts:eek:

Just think of the work us girls put in to hand make our pieces with careful consideration to colour style etc, and I charge no where near that for a bracelet that takes me hours to finish!

  • I am sorry to say that I buy bracelets and necklaces from Primark and take them appart to use in my own projects.

Does anybody else do this. They are only a couple of quid and some time have some really unusual beads etc.:)

I've done that before and you can get some nice ones, for very cheap money. I was out when the postie came so I have to wait until tomorrow now for my beads :(
  • Aww yukki don`t you just hate it when that happens! We had a different postie today who was blooming miserable, especially when I had the biggest grin on my face as he handed me my parcels. I even sang `thank you` to him.... lol!
