  • Hi everyone :D I've just blogged my entry for Giggles_Fairys challange, Christmas, if you'd like to go see :D I like it so much I'm tempted to keep it for myself :D

Welcome to the thread Tarky, Krazykat & Carrot :j

Krazykat - can't wait to see what you make with your new buys :D

    :wave:Hi, I have a passion for crafting.......I'm always up to something :rotfl::rotfl:

  • Hope this is the right thread to post on - if not please send me in the right direction!

I was after some help finding some beads.

I've been asked to make some bracelets to raise money for Help for Heroes and so am looking for beads of the right colours
    http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/

I've found these 6mm red ones on ebay but need some light & dark blue to go with them. I'm happy to order from China if necessary & I'm not after anything too expensive as the cheaper the bracelets are to make to more I can raise for charity!

Can anyone help me track down some suitable 6mm beads please :D

    Thank you

I'm thinking of submitting an entry for the challenge. I should be able to make it tonight, my only concern is getting the photographic evidence on here. Would any of you kind ladies be able to point me in the direction of a free and easy to use pic hosting site? Many thanks, hope you are all doing well with your makes! :)

Morning all, ive been missing in action lately. I hadnt made anything for a bit and was getting a bit disheartened with it all and lost al creativeness,
until a woman got in touch with me a few weeks back and asked me to make loads of stuff for her stall. She wanted loads of charms and beads for little girls charm bracelets. She was over the moon with the samples I sent her and has kept putting in orders so ive been kept busy. Not making huge amounts of money but it pays for my daughters dance classes.

Ill get my thinking cap on and try and join the Christmas challenge as I also love that time of year.

These are some of the charms I made for the lady who asked for them,

EDIT - God sorry folks for the massive pics! ive no idea how I did the middle one, thats the size I thought they would all turn out.

  • Ok as its been a busy couple of weeks for everyone I think I will extend the challenge by a week to give everyone enough time to participate if they want to! What with the kids going back to school this week Im guessing you Mummys may be able to actually find yourself with a spare minute now hehe

    So just as a reminder:

The jewellery challenge this time will be.... CHRISTMAS!

Uh oh dont shout at me! But this is my favourite time of year by far and its been on my mind constantly for the last few days. So for this challenge you can either do a christmas themed item (anything) or make something that you will be giving as a gift for christmas to someone.

    Deadline : 10pm Tuesday 14th September.
