I get my business cards and stickerbooks from http://uk.moo.com/ - they are top quality and deliver quickly.

I buy the mini cards. I punch a hole on the side of them and use them as tags on my products. You can use as many different designs as you want on the cards too. They have a library of images or you can upload your own. I made up 3 different designs for my mini cards. One that just says "Kisto Designs", another says "Handmade by Kisto Designs" and the final ones are for my sock monkeys and have a sock monkey face with "Sock Monkey - Handmade by Kisto Designs".
They regularly have offers for newsletter subscribers too (i.e. 10% off).
:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j
  • thanks too every one :) i think i might even give making business cards a go myself or if i can find them cheap enough get some made, think this is going to be best as well as facebook!

FB has been driving me mad tonight, does anyone know how to post on other peoples walls as say "Beading Crazy" rather than as me?? My friend can do this and has said she has to log in as her business name?? i dont have to log in as my business just as myself. Has anyone any clues as to where im going wrong? thanks in advance im going stir crazy trying to figure it out!! x

This is what I meant by having a profile as well as a fanpage so that people wouldnt see personal info. When you post on your fanpage it will say the fanpage name as you said, but when you post on other peoples walls or want to message someone privately (they wont be able to private message you so woulod have to comment on your wall first then you would have to privtae message them) then it comes up as the personal profile you have used to open the fanpage (ie your name). So what I did was open a profile as though my name was SweetAs Candy (you have to play around abit with the name as obviously it means to be a persons name) then use this profile to create my fanpage named Sweet As Candy :D. That way when I post on other peoples walls or they message me its the SweetAs Candy profile that they see not my actual one.

There may be a way of doing it but I havent managed to figure it out :( Infact I just presumed you couldnt. Maybe ask your friend to show you how to do it?

I got my business cards from Vistaprint. You get 250 free and just have to pay postage which I think was approx £3.60 when i did it the other week (but I may be wrong). However if you use cashback sites then TopCashBack gives you £5 cashback for an order on Vistaprint so they are inact paying you to get the business cards! If you arent on Topcashback pm me and I will explain it in more detail for you :D. You have to use one of their templates but there are a few to choose from and mine all came in good time and are good quality. I figured whilst Im just starting out they are perfect, then I can invest in a high quality one when my business is more estalished.
  • I got my business cards (+other bits! lol) from Vistaprint too :D I went for the slowest delivery as its the cheapest but everything has come sooner than expected. I managed to get 500 free cards & business card holder for just under £5. I got this offer through an advert banner on ebay, so its worth looking out for :) x After you have purchased once you keep getting special offers emailed to you, most get deleted but I have reorded more free cards as 'Thankyou' cards :) xx

think they do vary in size as I've had this problem as well!

Yep - I've found that those 4mm bicones only fit on 24g headpins. Pearls often have a tinier diameter hole too, but at least you can widen it a bit with a bead reamer. ;)
  • Hi everyone, after a little bit of advice please :) Whats the best type of elastic to use in Jewellery making? I'm wanting to make a childs necklace so wanted to get the good stuff ;) I have had some in the past, but it broke easy, thinks it cos I got a cheap one! Many thanks for your help :D xXx
