Whats the best type of elastic to use in Jewellery making? I'm wanting to make a childs necklace so wanted to get the good stuff
I have had some in the past, but it broke easy, thinks it cos I got a cheap one! Many thanks for your help
xXx
Hey thought id repay the favour since your always helping me lol I bought 20m of clear elastic thread but got 0.8mm instead of 0.5mm as I found this was too thin and snapped really easily but the added thickness on this one has worked better
I use this for my bracelets and watches and its east to knot too. I got mine for £1.97 inc delivery from jewel-mania on ebay! Hope thats of some assistance (oh and it still fits through most beads even smaller ones) x0 -

Hi, what does the 24g stand for? Ive been looking on ebay and some of them dont mention the "g" x0 -

the g stands for the gauge of the wire, or the thickness, the larger the number the thinner the wire.
If it has SWG then its usually a UK gauge, if it says AWG then its the American number, they vary a little

I'm not sure if I've posted this in the right place.
After starting beading a while ago I have now decided that my next step is pandora bracelets - but what a nightmare. My beads, spacers and stoppers are all coming ok but the bracelets I've bought from ebay have all been banned!
Does any one know a good seller on ebay for the bracelets????
Was excited to get back into it all again and now this has just put me off!!!
Please help0 -
Jenny_f- has eBay suspended your sellers account? This has happened to me recently with beads I have bought from India via ebay, something to do with bank checks. The sellers account was reinstated within a few days. Also, it may be that the seller has already posted your items. It may be worth filing an eBay/paypal claim anyway. I've ordered a few pandora bracelets myself, I will have a look later and let you know the sellers I have used, I know none are from the uk so it takes a couple of weeks to get them.July- coconut body shop body butter, pom bear football, mini johnsons lotion, Sally Hansen nail treatments0

Are they fakes? If they are then it may be that ebay has banned the seller for selling fake items.0

I just did a search on pandora and this thread has come up. How can you use the name pandora to make your own bracelets as then you would be selling "fakes" surely. Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama0
