Have just sat and spent 3 hours cutting some more jump rings to make some chain maille, (cut a load Sunday night) all thanks to a design by a friend of mine in a magazine, she assures me that I will be able to do it.
Have acutally completed the chainmaille base for it, and it went a lot easier than maille normally does for me, it's the one thing that can bring out my perfect Anglo Saxon, and it generally gets hurled across the room, but so far so good.
Apart from the sore wrist from the cutting, will have to have a rest now!0 -

Depends where you are, I usually get mine from either Staples or Hobbycraft, if I am near the Lowry shopping place in Manchester, then I get it there. This is the 56g blocks.
Another place is EJRBeads, Emma sells it by the single block I think, but I can't remember how much she charges0 -
Finished the chainmaille, had to adapt the pattern slightly as I didn't have enough fresh water pearls, and I only had across the top holed teardrops.
Photies taken with phone, and it was night time, so they are not the best

56g is the square block, the one that looks like two of the rectangular blocks that you get in sets, stuck together.
You can get mahoosive blocks, but I think they are generally in white or porceline pink, have seen those in HobbyCraft, but they are not cheap, well I guess there are when you compare it to the regular blocks, just a lot in one go!
And thank you :A0
