Just blogged my Semi-Precious Rose Quartz bracelets in the style of the new Thomas Sabo Charm Bracelets (I was lucky enough to be bought one by OH while on holiday and I love it)

Going to be making a lot more of these in different colours with different charms on.

Vikki that bracelet is great, did you manage to make some money for the charity?

It has been quite here, me too, Ive been so busy working two part time jobs to try and make some pennies. I also had a wonderful surprise from my best friend on Tuesday last week where she surprised me with a make over with Jeff Banks at Matalan including £200 worth of free clothes!!!! She had won a competition where she had to say why her best friend deserved a makeover and found out the week before so gave me a big long winded story which I fully believed and didnt tell me till we were sat outside Matalan at 10am on the day! Was so amazing! The pics are going into Matalans online magazine aparently!

I have also been looking into doing something else, not jewellery related which haas kept my mind going crazy these last few days!

But... I also have a new style I want to try too for my jewellery too, so hopefully I will be able to post pics of something this weekend .

I did start to make something for the challenge but totally didnt like it! Need to scrap it and start again slightly different I think.

Oooh Buttons thats a hard one for me as Ive not done any of the other crafts yet so havent built up any stashes other than the jwellery bits n bobs! Might have to see if I cna get to a car boot sunday morning before I start work to get some buttons hehe I have got an idea of what I could so though

Yeah made lots of money for the charity and combined with all of the other teams totals the event raised over £45,000 and theres still money coming in!! :T:T

I bought the charms from ebay, i have lots left so when I have finished my charm bracelets and pandora style bracelets i am going to list them as seperate charms to purchase.

Me and my friend decided to have a drive out today to a shop called The Bead Trail. To be honest it wasnt as big as I thought and didnt have as much variety as we expected but it was still great to have a wander. I also think it helps to see some things in 'real life' so to say, so that when you come to order you know exactly what it is you need! I did splash out a couple of £s but nothing major. As I dont have a button stash I bought some cute flower shaped buttons from The Bead Trail to use for my challenge so I am hoping to do that this weekend! I also got 10 beads which were in the sale for 10p each and are like white ceremic with a gold and purple stripe painted on for 7 of them and a brown and gold strip on the other 3. And then there were 2 random beads which are much different to what I have bought before which were only 20p each so thought I would give it a go and see what I could make out of them! They are really oblong so a shape I havent worked with before! I also noticed they do classes and I have heard they are quite good so think I may look into doing one later in the year when I have abit more money .

Well Ive done my challenge entry just now but theres no battery on my camera to take a pic oops! Going to photo and blog is tomorrow Took me a couple of tries to get the design right but I like how it turned out

I've made a little set for a christmas pressie so will post a pic up tomorrow if you dont mind? Its minus earrings at the moment as I'm waiting on a couple of bits but necklace and bracelet are done

I'm trying to bulk up my stock at the moment as I have decided to have a stall at my Town centre market (Chesterfield) on Bank Holiday Monday. It will be my 1st time selling like this so I'm half excited & half nervous! lol I'm hoping it goes ok as I've found out they run an Arts & Crafts event at the end of October which I'm interested in taking part. Also my friend who has a pub in town has asked if I would like to sell at her 'Geek' event in November I'm so excited xXx Got to fit my NEC trip inbetween them both
