Where is everyone??? :rotfl:
I went to visit my friend, walked there and back, so that's almost 3 hours walking today. :j:j:j My fingers are tightly crossed for a good WI tomorrow! I am so motivated at the moment, I really hope it continues. My holiday in 4 weeks is concentrating my mind! :rotfl: I am going to start trying on swimwear, summer dresses etc to keep myself on the straight and narrow.
Does anyone have ideas what I can eat with rice cakes? I bought 4 packets (on offer lol) a few weeks ago and have struggled to find something tasty to go with them. I tried low fat cream cheese and smoked salmon - the cream cheese split and caked immediately (was that because if the dryness of the rice cakes?). I also tried jam - no good. Peanut butter is better but you need need a fair bit to make it taste nice - which means lots of calories. So I am stumped!!! I might try honey tomorrow but any other ideas would be much appreciated.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Sorry can't help with the polystyrene ( sorry rice ) cakes....
I ventured out for a walk today.. I am very unfit and this was a steep hill and I didn't think I was going to make it. However it was worth it ( I think!) Fab views over the Severn Estuary and we found the stone circle that had eluded us last summer.
Once we got back to the car though it started to snow - do you know you get some very funny looks driving an MX-5 with the roof down in a snowstorm. Great fun :rotfl:.

Tara for the rice cakes you could try marmite. You only need a small amount.
I like salsa too as that's tasty and low cal. I've been having Ryvitas spread with a small bit of cream cheese, topped with a lot of salsa and slices jalepenos - yum!
If you wanted something sweet you could try low fat natural yoghurt mixed with sugar substitue (optional - I prefer not to use this as I don't like it sweet!) topped with sliced fruit, or berries.
I'm doing my final weigh in for January in the morning...0 -
Final weigh in for January - lost not a thing so overall I've lost a 1lb. Tbf DS has been full of cold so been trapped in house, so not very active.
Ah well... hoping for a better February, should be going jogging with my OH this week - I'm actually starting to look forward to it. He's told me the route he's going to [STRIKE]drag[/STRIKE] take me on, which I really need to tweak - there's no way I'm jogging along a main road where people can see me:eek: huffing and wheezing and gasping for breath:rotfl:
See you in Fantastic Flabless February0 -
Tara747. Mash up a banana with a fork until it is a spreadable consistency and spread that on the rice cakes. Sometimes I have mashed banana on a slice of wholemeal toast which is nice and filling. Helps you to eat the 5 a day too!
Ok, next thread will be on the Fb. one!0 -

tinkerbellsmum - 10.5lbs, wow, I feel humbled!
I weighed in at 136.7lbs, so have lost 0lbs since 1 January!!! I feel really disappointed but I had lost 2lbs between Monday and Friday so I know it can be done. The effects of the weekend's walking obviously aren't showing yet, so I will persevere and hope for a better result next week!
Well done to all the losers and commiserations to the STSers and gainers - see you on the other thread! xoGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs
