OK - I'll dig out the pedometer! I have a day's shopping planned at the Swindon outlet centre. I wonder how many steps I will manage? Enough to offset the coffee and cake mid morning? or the National Trust lunch? or the tea and cake mid afternoon??

That look dreadful doesn't it  I didn't realise how bad until I typed it out.
Dear Lord, you can't have all that in half a day can you? :rotfl:
The food diary one - lol! :D

It makes you very conscious of what you put in your mouth, cos you don't want to be writing lots of 'naughty' things down IYSWIM?

So far have been very good, with no unnecessary's, I hope that I can keep it up. :)

Good for you! I'm doing well so far too, having to record what I eat has made me very conscious of snacking! :o

Unfortunately I can. Which is why I need this thread and low calorie recomemndations for the evening :rotfl:

On the plus side I have lost some more since my last update but I guess I'd better wait until my normal Monday weigh in just in case I do dreadful damage over the weekend.

All that painting is bound to have burned a fair few calories!! Go easy on your takeaway and you might not do too much damage!

I meant to report in on Wed past - sorry! :o
Anyway, pleased to report a 2lb loss so that brings me up to 6lb total. Am going to weigh again Sunday morning. Hopefully will have reached the 7lb target (for the 1st time ever!)
Joined Slimming World on Wed and can't believe the amount I am eating and following their plan. I tell you what, if I have lost when I go again next Wed, I'll never leave it cos I am stuffed all the time following the plan. Here's hoping! :D

    Well done Leothecat!!!

I went for a couple of drinks after work, managed to resist the temptation of the chippy afterwards and came home and made toast. Yay to me...

Final weigh in for January and I'm happy to report another 1lb loss so that's a total of 4lb. :) Will try to work harder for February. Now I'm off to make a late breakfast of egg on toast mmm.
  • I am managing to control eating under stress/when feeling down. Yesterday evening I had bad news at work: my hours are being cut. Before I would have comfort eaten at home as a result but instead I took the dog for walk, had a hot bath and only one glass of wine, albeit a large one.
Today I feel a bit brighter and despite the proverbial belt already being tight, I am going to try my hardest to pay off all I owe by the end of April as the debts have been hanging over me for well over 5 years now and I am SOOOOOOO looking forward to the day I owe nothing (mortgage not included as "debts").
OH and I did the shopping this morning and later I am going to make a meal plan to make what we have bought go as far as possible and also plan healthy, low fat meals.
    Have a nice weekend everyone.
