    Hello

I would like to join up again for January. I'm not sure how I have done in December as I have been in and out of hospital and then with xmas. In saying that I will weigh myself on the 31st and let you know how I did.

Definately in for the 7lbs in January though as if I can keep it up that will be the 6 stone I need to lose.

Good luck to all in January and welcome to the newbies.

OK, this is a bit wierd, but wouldchocolate freeze? I'm just thinking that every now and then a chocolate is a nice thing to have, but I agree, I couldn't cope with a box of my favourtie chocolates calling my name on a boring eveing in depressing January...but if I were getting just one out of the freezer that might work....one chocolate can't be too bad calorifically and could be worked in for people with sweet teeth....

and the idea it wasn't being watsed would appeal...

does any one know? If it does 'd even go and by chocolat to freeze for ''hormone weeks''

I guess it takes really good will power to just keep it in cupboard or something.....maybe if i put it somewhere like the shed and put like 5 padlocks on the shed, then i'll only have the chocolate if i REALLY want it!

  • Hello - I would like to join up too - I will be happy with 4lbs in a month as I'm a bit paranoid about loose skin  being the interesting side of 40...
I am going to try and plan regular meals and healthy snacks and going to try and cut out alcohol.

    Thanks,

Could I join please? I'd like to lose around 4 and a half stone, and 7lbs in January sounds like a good starting point.

Doubt I'll post my weight though.:o

I cut out alcohol every yer from January to March. Very occasionally I brek it with a glass of Champgne for valentine's. I'm not a heavy drinker at all, but I like the idea of giving my body a brek after Christmas and New Year. I guess I average 3 units a week (dpending on the wine).

Freezing chocolate might be worth experimenting with then? I don't mind fat bloom. :) its cosmetic mainly. The sugar bloom sounds less good.

Its wonderful to hve so many new joiners for January. For people wrried about not posting weight, I don't either....only losses and gains :)

Good to see you back Masie M (and are you okay? hospital does not sound good ) and welcome to sparklymessygirl, freyasmum and Jacqu79 :D

Hmm I may not put down starting weights but rather a running total next to peoples names as to how they are doing with the weight loss this month - how does that sound?
