Hi - here I am again
. Gonna try my best to do 7 lbs in January. I am now sooooo fat, I disgust myself looking in the mirror. Please count me in.

Hmm I may not put down starting weights but rather a running total next to peoples names as to how they are doing with the weight loss this month - how does that sound?
Sounds good to me! Is there a set date for weekly weigh ins?Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Good afternoon - could I join you good folks too. I need to lose another 4 and a half stones - and was [STRIKE]planning[/STRIKE] hoping this to be 7lbs a month.
Used to be in a 60+ hour a week really stressful job (hence weight gain ) - now have chosen to be a SAHM. Need advice, guidance, and support. Will read back over your previous posts.
In December I have been ill over the last two weeks (really heavy cold ) and have lost 7 pounds :T. Hope this doesn't go straight back on when I start to eat again!
Many thanks, KCS.

Count me in - 2-3 stone to lose this year on top of the 1.5 stone lost in 2009
Going for continuing regular moderate-high intensity exercise and trying to stick to a WW points scheme after the free trial (but not meetings/online). My toughest challenge is to stop eating crap really, oh and to drink less to save the empty calories. The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -
Hello there,
I would love to sign up for this challenge. I currently weigh 14st 4lband want to get to 12st 4lb as soon as possible as I have run out of clothes.
I got my requested treadmill for xmas and so I am starting my new regime on 1st Jan. I am also doing this for health reasons as I have a bad back and walking is the only thing that eleviates the pain
Thanks for doing this DragonDischarged May 20100 -
I was just reading DH's men's health and thought that this might interest the Dragon and others like us who hve to deal with pain management while dieting:Ingestion = npain prevention. When we ingest food our bodies can ignore some levels of pain due to our phsychological hard-wiring -think lollypop from the doctor. Thankfully, scientists at the university of Chicago have found that it doesn't have to come from a high calorie sugary treat; 500 ml of water is enough...
Inerestingly this could support something I vaguley remember an endocrinologist telling me was a reason lots of PCOS women gain weight: that subconsciously we eat prior to our periods as it minimises pain.....
anyway, it also implies that missing meals, not eating enough could exascerbate pain...its a bit of a leap, sure, but not an illogical one. More reasons not to under eat The Dragon, but perhaps eating little and often throughout the day might help with your pain management as well as your weight loss?0 -

Thanks for this L-I-R, this isn't something the pain clinic has talked about (just lose weight it will help the pain , ummmm yes I know that one!) but I might see if the dietician mentions itDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
