No chocolate here!
Not one box entered this house over the festive season. A few mince pies surfaces, a cake or two and a panetone, but while chocolat doesn't ever feature heavily here things we like were, thanks to my wonderful family, just not bought this year. I missed panforte a lot, but ...may be next year....I had a small piece of panetone, no Christmas pudding (In fact yesterday I made some icecreame with the left overs that my family are tucking into today.). I did however succombe to a bit of cheese and some wone, and port. DH made some egg nog, but it wasn't that delicious and though it had been my planned treat I found it was quite easy to forgo....it just didn't taste worth any weight gain to me. I feel so virtuous, despite a gain this week, I just will not be turned from doing what I need to do right now...0
