Hope you haven't succumbed to temptation Bramble! Although I agree with Jackie, what you've eaten today doesn't seem like an awful lot.

On a completely unrelated note, is anyone on here in need of any size 20/22 clothing? I've just had a good old clearout of my wardrobe and there's a large heap on the floor waiting to go to the charity shop - I'm happy to send it your way instead :)

    Part of the Furniture
    Vege and Lentil soup

Celery stick, carrot and onion chopped up and sauted. once carrot is soft add 2 chopped up peppers and continue cooking, after a few mins add one and three quater pints of stock, about 225g of red lentils and a 400g tin of chopped tom (I prefer to add good quality tinned plum toms and chop as I stir, season, add good glug of worcester sauce and teaspoon of marmite (optional) Bring to boil and simmer for about 30 mins.
I think this was a GH recipe that i've tweeked, delicious and filling.

  • Can I join too? I am looking to weigh in on Monday (the start of the year for me - I always diet monday to monday).
I will post my weight (which I expect to be around 15 10) and also my measurements if I may. I am a veggie and I am going to have a go at SW as I have done WW every year for the past decade and the most I have lost is 1 1/2 stone.

Early evening is worst for me, then late at night if I'm still awake. Besides nail painting, lots of hand cream and gloves is an option, having a disclosing tablet session (DH knows I'm hungry when my tongue is blue :o:o:o, spending time on MSE or ust doing something, clear out a cupboard, clean the bathroom, get the chequebook balanced....anything that keeps you busy!

Edit: last night I was at party, I was very good, there was a buffet meal, and I had a little but ignored the four delicious puddings and the amazing cheeses (including my very favourite cheese, which I last ate last festive season!) I actually wish I had had some cheese, because I dreamt about it all night! DH sampled all the puddings, and told me how great they were, and that I hve to get the recipe for one, but...he had an upset stomach in the morning. So I could after all feel positive about the sacrifce of cheese and pudding! Oh, I also have started my annual new years resolution of no alcohol (to drink, I might still cook with some) for three months. :)
  • yeah i always want to pick at nite i find either picking on healthy food or having a bowl of porriage helps
