Morning everyone, welcome retrocircles.
I'm feeling really lazy today......I've got no get up and go at all..........so I think I'll just have a cup of tea before I start a mammoth ironing session.
A few of my ebay items end today, three of the items have bids and quite a few watchers
DS is working till 8.............and DS2 and DS3 need to be in work by 5.30 so I'll have to get cracking if I want to get anything done. I'll be back later to report on my ebay sales!Total debt at LBM £26k+Total debt now £16,494.40Tesco CC 11/2/11 Total - £1,387.20 - Now £00 -
How many pairs of jeans can one student own??
That cuppa must have done the trick cos I've been really busy today, I've done all the washing and ironed everything, I've even done that job everyone hates.......sorted the odd socks into pairs!...(funny how there's always a few left over though....where do the others go?)
I'm waiting for my roasties to cook, then we'll have tea. DS2 and DS3 have to be in work by 5.30. I might even take the decorations down after tea, I'm tired of looking at them now.
I always leave one little ornament up, just in case it really is bad luck to take them down before twelfth night!
Still no new bidders on ebay.........but there's still about an hour to go!
Another no spend day today, that makes three in a row!Total debt at LBM £26k+Total debt now £16,494.40Tesco CC 11/2/11 Total - £1,387.20 - Now £00 -
My ebay items ending today have just finished.
I sold 4 for £73.48, lets hope they all pay me! The unsold items have all been relisted.
The lamb roast was very nice, its all quiet here at the moment so I'm finishing off the last of the wine, once its gone we won't be opening any more until OH's birthday at the end of this month.
Early start for us tomorrow, DS1 has lectures at 12.30 so we'll probably leave here about 6.00am which gives us enough time to pop to Tescos in Cardiff to stock up his cupboards. He eats a lot of jacket spuds so I've bought him a huge sackfull of potatoes for £3 from a farmer who sells them out of the back of a trailer close to where we live.
Its going to be really quiet here after he's gone, at least DS3 will be glad that he doesn't have to share with his brother until DS1 comes home again at Easter. That's why we're extending the house.............they all need their own space!Total debt at LBM £26k+Total debt now £16,494.40Tesco CC 11/2/11 Total - £1,387.20 - Now £00 -
Well, DS1 has gone back to Uni today.......its too quiet here now, I really hate it when he goes back, I'll just have to wait until easter now, to see him again.........thank goodness for Facebook (although he doesn't think that!)
We started a little later than planned, we were supposed to start off about 6ish but nobody wanted to get up so it was closer to 7ish when we finally started.
The temperature gauge in the car was showing -9 in some places, but the mountains were absolutely fabulous......I should have taken my camera with me. I don't suppose DH would have been happy to stopping the car every couple of miles for me to take photos. When he's got to go somewhere, he just wants to get there as soon as possible......(that might be a man thing I think!!). We travelled all the way down from North Wales to Cardiff with the windscreen wash frozen the whole way!!
My diet was ok, until we stopped on the way home and I bought us both an all day breakfast and a cup of tea..........so that's my diet and my budget blown for today!!
Never mind...................tomorrow is another day. I go back to work tomorrow, so it should be easier to keep to a routine.
I picked up a leaflet in Cardiff Tescos (we went in to stock up DS1's cupboard)...."Drop a Stone in 8 weeks or your money back".....I'm going to check that out later, apparently they work out a diet plan for you and a shopping list to go with it.

Sitting in front of a lovely log fire now.
I've just coloured my hair and I'm really happy with the colour. Its called "plum" and is just as good as when its done by the hairdresser!
So, instead of spending almost £70 at a trendy salon, I paid £5.70 for a box of hair colour.
I'm having it cut next week by a mobile hairdresser, she used to work for the salon I went to but since she had a baby, she's been mobile - she only charges £5!
I've also been torturing myself looking through a holiday brochure that came through the post today........no chance of a holiday for us this year.......the house has to come first as well as clearing all the debts of course!!Total debt at LBM £26k+Total debt now £16,494.40Tesco CC 11/2/11 Total - £1,387.20 - Now £00 -
Mammoth ironing... took me 2 whole evenings to do mine. When I'm rich I swear I'll pay someone to do my ironing!
Well done on your Ebaying!!! You're making me sleepy, I want a log fire!

Morning everyone!
Hands up who's fed up of the snow now!! Me!
I'm supposed to back at work today and I can't get my car out of the house and down the lane. I was all psyched up this morning........new year, new start....I even got up an hour earlier to try and do some chores before work, and made myself a healthy packed lunch. I looked out the window and knew I wasn't going anywhere!
So far been a good girl, had porridge for breakfast and will eat my packed lunch at home...ham salad sandwich on brown bread, no butter. I've done my washing and ironing........what to do for the rest of the day?? I might go for a walk. I can't make much noise as DH is in bed (nightshift this week). DS2 has no college and DS3 no school.
I can't get to the PO to post my ebay items, so I've contacted everyone to explain why....I just hope they're understanding, I'd hate to get any negative feedback

Hi Miemie, it was nice before Christmas, but now I just want to get back to work and get myself back into a routine. Thank goodness we took DS1 back to Cardiff yesterday, we did consider going today as his lectures don't start till tomorrow!
I bet the kids are glad to be off school. DS3's already had two changes of clothes. plenty of hills here for sledging.Total debt at LBM £26k+Total debt now £16,494.40Tesco CC 11/2/11 Total - £1,387.20 - Now £00
