Test has been rescheduled for 2.30pm. DS1 is at Uni in Cardiff. He works hard all year.....hopefully will graduate this year with a good degree.
He's not working at the moment, but from May to the end of Oct he works 7 days a week and I know he'll pay me back then.Total debt at LBM £26k+Total debt now £16,494.40Tesco CC 11/2/11 Total - £1,387.20 - Now £00 -
Well, DS2 has failed his driving test again (2nd time). (Would it be really mean of me to be glad that he's not out on the road on his own yet? I worry enough when DS1 is out and he's 20!)
He's very disappointed, and not saying much.
Just had a lovely long bath using some of the lovely Lush goodies Santa brought me. We're off out for a meal tonight (just the five of us, which should cheer up DS2).......then OH and I will see in the new year at the local pub.
Tomorrow, dieting starts in earnest!Total debt at LBM £26k+Total debt now £16,494.40Tesco CC 11/2/11 Total - £1,387.20 - Now £00 -
Hi snowdenlily, sorry to hear that your ds did'nt pass his test.
Loving the diary and have subscribed, i also need to lose weight at least a couple of stone and have decided i will start tommorrow, going to enjoy tonight with a few glasses of wine and an indian take away and probably a few choccies as well, oh and maybe a piece of chrismas cake and mince pies need eating and so do the dips that are sat in the fridge:o and then i will start eating healthy tommorrow:D.
Have a good night out and HAPPY NEW YEAR.0 -
Awwhh, what a shame for your DS, but he will get there, I think the examiners are perhaps quite hard on young lads and to be honest it's not a bad thing. Your heart breaks for them though although I know what you mean about being relieved he is not let loose on the roads yet (mother myself!). Have a great meal and New Year.

Good Morning everyone and Happy New Year!!
We had a really good night last night...........the food was lovely and the company was great!
After we ate we went to the local pub and DS3 (who's 14) was allowed to have some friends over for a "party". I'm glad to say my house was still in one piece when we got home (sometime around 3.00am!!) The village pub doesn't shut until everyone's gone........which isn't always a good thing!
I even caught up with my god-daughter whom I haven't seen for years.....she now has a daughter too..........(does that make me a god-grandmother?)..its scary how quickly time passes!
DH and DS2 have gone to work......my head doesnt feel quite right...........can't imagine why.
Its snowing really heavily here now.
Here's to a brilliant 2010..........it won't be a debt free year, but it'll definitely be a year with less debt and a slimmer year!Total debt at LBM £26k+Total debt now £16,494.40Tesco CC 11/2/11 Total - £1,387.20 - Now £00 -
Well, we're all feeling a bit better here now.
I haven't spent anything today, but thats probably because I've spent most of it on the sofa............I think New Years Eve 2010 will have to be a quiet one!
I've joined the 2010 ebay challenge.......my first challenge and the first of many I hope. Tomorrow, I will have to brave the supermarket, so I suppose tomorrow's challenge will have to be..........no impulse buys!
Its still snowing heavily here so if I can't get my car down the lane...............DS2 and DS3 will have a long walk home.
