I got to goal weight once at SW and I had to have no goodies in the house, just buying some a couple of times a week for the kids and only enough to give them. Think I will have to do this again. If its there I have to eat it!!
Just looked at that card and it said it cannot be reloaded, does that mean if you use some of it you can't add more but you can keep adding if you don't use it?0 -
I think so, once you start to use it, you can't put any more on. I suppose you could always start on another one.Total debt at LBM £26k+Total debt now £16,494.40Tesco CC 11/2/11 Total - £1,387.20 - Now £00

Hello.......well I'm at work but its snowing (surprise surprise)....debating with myself whether or not to go home. I've sent the others home, so I'll probably leave in the next hour, I don't fancy driving through this in the dark!
DS2 managed to make it into college for his Maths A level this morning and has just texted me to let me know it went "ok" ......(which could mean anything!!). This one was a re-sit....he's bright but very lazy when it comes to college work. If he put half the energy he puts into avoiding work into actually doing the work he could achieve anything!
So far today, I've been a good girl and stuck to my diet....its been Special K for breakfast and lunch and I've asked DH to put a jacket spud in the Aga for when I get home (he's got the day off today).
Had to go to the cashpoint in my lunch hour today....I'd run out of lunch money for the boys. I give it to them on Monday and then they have to make it last all week. I find it really funny when I realise how my attitude to money has changed. Before Christmas I thought nothing of using the cashpoint every day, but today I was really really fed up at having to withdraw the cash. Maybe I should just withdraw enough at the start of the month to keep me going till the end of the month.
Ok....my mind is made up......its just been on the radio that the mountain road I have to use on my way home is "hazardous", so I'm packing up and heading home.Total debt at LBM £26k+Total debt now £16,494.40Tesco CC 11/2/11 Total - £1,387.20 - Now £00 -
Hello.......here I am again.....at work and bored!
I've only had 3 people through the door today, and have run out of things to do. Thank goodness for MSE, at least I can have a lurk around here and see what everyone else has been up to today.
Diet today has been so far so good, and my only spend has been 45p for a newspaper. Do newspapers count when your trying to have NSDs? Only 10 days until payday, so lets see how many NSDs we can manage before then.
I'm really fed up at the moment, had a horrible evening last night. DH keeps reminding me about how stupid I've been to run up these debts. I already know how stupid I've been  .........I don't need him reminding me at every opportunity!! A bit of encouragement would be nice, I've hardly spent anything since Christmas (before my LBM I would have spent about £200 in the January sales!).
I've been doing some calculations today (too much time on my hands).....and if I can keep on doing what I've been doing for the last two weeks, I should be debt free by about June 2012. I can honestly tell you, that seems impossible now, but having read on these forums about other people who've tacked debts much larger than mine, I know I have to keep going.

Hi Snowdonlily, hope you got home from work safe and sound. We have bad snow forecast for tomorrow, when is it going to end??
I know what you mean about your OH, mine rubs it in at every single opportunity and its very frustrating. The only way I can put up with it is by thinking that I would do the same if it was him! Just remember when you are debt free you can keep rubbing it in about how much you are saving!! Anyway ignore him and keep on going, you can and will do it!! x0 -
Hi spendtoomuch.......had an almighty row last night, so I took my glass of wine and left him to his mutterings and went to watch tv in bed!
I'm sooooooo fed up to this snow now......I hope this means we have a long hot summer! Its been snowing since first thing this morning. I came in ok (im at work), but starting to get a bit anxious about driving home. I have to go over quite a high mountain pass which gets snowed up quickly.
One good thing about last night, we got a lot of things off our chest......I dont think he'd quite grasped how much I had to pay off.......so when he saw my Tesco bill, he just went off at the deep end. I had told him about it at Christmas when I started this diary, but obviously he wasn't taking it in (or maybe not listening). We've cleared the air now though so no more surprises....I hope!Total debt at LBM £26k+Total debt now £16,494.40Tesco CC 11/2/11 Total - £1,387.20 - Now £00 -
Left work at 2.45pm today, I've never seen snowflakes so big!
I have the day off tomorrow, so I'll probably finish off my wine. I'd really like loads of snow tomorrow. (I know I'm fickle!)...........I have to go to the dentist for root canal treatment, I had one done just before Christmas, so now I know what to expect I don't really fancy it.
DH is doing something in the garage, ....................I can hear a lot of banging and clanking and drilling noises....it must be freezing there!!
All I spent today was 45p for a newspaper. I was tempted to buy a magazine, but I resisted! The diet has been ok today, but it wasn't helped by a client bringing in a box of Milk Tray and a bottle of red wine for each of us. I don't mean to sound ungrateful......its nice to be appreciated.Total debt at LBM £26k+Total debt now £16,494.40Tesco CC 11/2/11 Total - £1,387.20 - Now £00 -
