Hi Shelly
I have recieved one today the other is out of stock so will follow, it was sent on Friday arrrived today so not bad with a weekend in between. It was sent in a Royal Mail Post Safe pack and the item itself is in the original sealed pack. It is one like you get multi pack underwear in the same as the packs you get when you buy a cross stitch from Hobby Craft etc.
I would definatley shop here again Hope this helps. :T
Thanks very much for the info. I'll have another look on the site tomorrow as it's my birthday and my Mum and Brother have put cash in my cards :T:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Great progress everyone - and Misty Blue's oriental lady looks fantastic :T
Am making steady progress on my unicorn but it's white on white atm so I have to keep taking breaks which is slowing me down a bitAt the rate I'm going, tho, I'm hopeful I'll be nearly done by the end of the coming weekend, then I can FINALLY start working on my orchids :j
Keep up the good work ladies xx0 -
Another update, took a day extra for this section, rocks have more confetti stitching than sky, plus I have been getting pains in my hand which made me take the odd break. Still, it's all worth it knowing I am on the home stretch!!!:j
7th Feb:
Going to do a bottom section next, nice to do some browns instead of greens for a while I think:cool:. Plus I'm sick of the sight of threads 647, 3022 and 3861 lol

Sorry everyone, just nipped on for a bit of advice, not had chance to catch up on all the pages I've missed. UFOs are looking great though!
Happy birthday Shelly :bdaycake:
I'm after a decent new frame for my stitching, I've got an 11" square plastic clip frame at the moment, and while I love it, I'd really like a lap tray or a floor stand. Please could you let me have your advice which is the best to go for. I've seen this one on sew and so, does anyone have one and is it any good?

Many thanks xxx:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:0 -

That's the exact one I have....and I LOVE it!!! :j
Seriously - I will never go back to a hoop again, my stitching life is so much easier since I bought that frame last year.
Ps - how are your polar bears coming along??Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Happy birthday shelly _party_
-hope you get some nice goodies with your birthday money
oohhhh *Louise* -not long to go now and then you can start a nice newbie :T
MistyBlue -the detail on that pic is stunning :T-but far too much backstitching for my liking-I would rather have blending and fractional stitches than have to do backstitch:D
Well I have to say that Im VERY :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:
here is my pic from last Friday
and here is today -tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Im done :j-I was hoping I could get it done by Friday but that last chunk was some serious "confetti stitch" (as I now know its called) -so Im chuffed to little mintballs that its done earlier.
I have finally settled on doing this one next:-
I got the chart back in 2005-so its about bloomin time :rotfl:....
The rest of my afternoon will be spent putting my threads from forest light back in the folders and then labelling the bags and sorting the threads for my newbie ...
I think this one may take some time as she is 16.7" X 28.7" and having looked at the chart its heapppppps of confetti stitch
Right -off to get the boring bit done.... happy stitching everyone-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

Thanks.
Have been looking at this kit to go in the kitchen http://www.xstitchcrafts.com/cross-stitch-kits-household-c-19_26/gourmet-abc-p-1008 but want to get the best price I can before ordering
I like this kind of sampler type kit because to me its like lots of small projects coming together as one.
Well Done on getting Forest Light finished :j She's beautiful!:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0
