That's really thoughtful of you. I don't have any of those charts, but I will have a riffle through my chart collection and see if I have any others x
ellie - It's coming along brilliantly, it won't take long to complete at all.
Gosh ruth - it's a while since we saw that piece of work! Have you got any more stitching done on it?
Yeah yeah, I know. I need nagging about it too, so feel free to keep asking me about it. If I feel guilty enough, I'll work on it more often.
As for the wedding sampler, I still have the Tatty Teddy chart up for grabs if that would be any use, MummyClaire. I'll pop onto the other computer to find the photo of the one I stitched and edit this post in a few minutes...
I also have the magazine with the Margaret Sherry cats on the swing (somewhere!). If you wanted the chart for that, I could send it to you. Although if anyone has any idea what issue number it was in, that would probably help a lot! *Most* of my magazines are in order...just not the more recent ones!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

elliep Santa is looking lovely :The is climbing higher up my "to do" list
Ruth -how much more of that design do you have left to do? you must be on the home straight now
Lainz.... how bloomin annoying about that chart-
Hubby is leaving for the UK at 2am in the morning and won't be back until about 4am Wednesday morning -so Im planning plenty of sewing :jIf I haven't finished "forest light" by my update on Friday then there is something wrong :rotfl:
I've been on the 'home straight' with that blooming things for years! It just SO big and SO fiddly to stitch now. BUT I *will* get on and do it because I'm sick of the sight of it!!!And my mum has been waiting over 3 years for it now...:o

There was a lovely free kit of t margaret sherry cats sharing a swing which came as a free kit with Cross Stitcher about a year ago. Unfortunately I don't have that issue but try searching the cover kits on ebay for it. You can use larger fabric and put your own words on but that picture was lovely.
This is very expensive for a cover kit but if you can find the chart somewhere and make your own kit it's a lovely picture

OMG they want £5 for a FREE cover kit ... thats more then the cost of the magazine ! lol .... i have it somewhere so thats a good idea ! thank youMRSMCAWBER wrote: »Evening all

that will be great if you do have it !
ohh no, its horrible when you dont like that pic / chart you are stitching ... i have done a tatty teddy before (it was the 1st thing i ever stitched) so i know how annoying the "tatty" back stitch is .... that is the only thing that puts me off ... but the finished pics make it worth it

Hi Shelly
Just thought I would let you know I have oredered two kits and the customer service is excellent. Had a bit of a problem with paying for them as when I tried to pay it said not authorised by bank so tried agaiin 3 times and then decided to sen a chq. However then I had a email from tha company asking if I needed 3 and said they have automatically refunded the money. They have despatched the goods with the reutrned chq. They email you straight back even at 9.30pm!! so all in all I am pleased with the service.
Thanks for the update. Could you do a final update when you receive the kits and let me/us know how long they took to arrive and if they were well packaged?
Thanks, I appreciate it!:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
wow there is lovely work being done, and as for thoses trees that Ruth-honey is doing no way would i be able to do something like that the colours would drive me nuts, but it is such a stunning picture. And Santa is great i love the way his hair streams behind him.

I have recieved one today the other is out of stock so will follow, it was sent on Friday arrrived today so not bad with a weekend in between. It was sent in a Royal Mail Post Safe pack and the item itself is in the original sealed pack. It is one like you get multi pack underwear in the same as the packs you get when you buy a cross stitch from Hobby Craft etc.
I would definatley shop here again Hope this helps. :T0
