Not been stitching much recently, have done 2 cards from an old coss stitcher magazine, a robin and a Christmas tree for OH SIL and Brother... I must get them finished so I can post em!

Cheese toastie for me, coffee and does anyone want some apple and cinnamon muffins fresh from the oven? Will be making cheese and red onion scones later.....:) Supposed to be for :xmastree:

hello! well done on reading back any pages, let alone 20!
i think i saw those mice, are they climbing a sewing machine? cute design. good luck in getting it finished, if not, it'll be done for next year anyway!

Yes, they're climbing the sewing machine. I've only really got two mice left to do and some backstitch but I seem to have lost the enthusiasm.

Probably because I want to get onto my next project, which is a funky owl cushion (also in a magazine) that I'm going to make into a doorstop :D

Hiya I haven't posted on here for ages so I thought I'd update you with what I'm working on, I've been trying to do this for the last 3 days but I haven't had 5 minutes peace from the kids all week what with snotty noses, new teeth and too much sugar (thankyou Auntie Jess!)

This is what I'm working on http://www.stitcher.co.uk/view-product.asp?ssn=20254&product=my-first-teddy

My progress as of the 10/12/10

I've done a little bit more since I took the photo but it's 18 count and my eyes are tired and my baby won't sleep and I feel like carp :o but nevermind I WILL finish it before her first birthday at the end of march and I strongly suspect I will be sick of the sight of beige by then too :rotfl:

What lovely neat and even stitching, the finished picture will look great. Also I love your daughters' names, sensible but pretty.

Just about to leave the office. Dinner is all ready, big pot of chilli to be nuked so a couple of hours stitching tonight. Got up at stupid o'clock this morning when h2b left for work so squeezed two hours in before work! Cross stitching on wedding sampler all finished, so will be tackling the back stitch tonight.

Still have to chart the names and date for the bottom. Do you think it's okay to add them now, or is it bad luck?? I would like to get it all finished and framed before the wedding but don't want to jinx it.

  • Hi BikerChick1066,
I think you should be okay to add it now, I don't think it will be a jinx.

Might have to forego the stitching tonight as I need to put on my Christmas party dress to stretch it out a little bit and also figure out what to do with my hair before I wash it.

And could you pleeeeease cook them for me??? I'm far too hopeless to make them without burning the house down. I'll trade for some brownies.
