Hello All
Sorry I have not posted in a while - using only works computer now - other on far too slow and can't upload on it. Been watching all from afar.tellmeitsfriday wrote: »I scrubbed it all off and it looks ok - I am just worried that there's something more sinister going on. I will do the other wardrobe and the chest of drawers later.!
Hope you got it sorted.just out of interest, I always start my stitching in the middle but do any of you start at the top ? or elsewhere where its more convenient for you ? and if you do this - how much aida should you leave for the border/to allow for framing ?
Depends on the pattern - samplers I usually go to the edge - about 3 inch in each side. Others I start in the middle. So I'm struggling with my depression, which had been a lot better this year. I feel ashamed to admit how bad I feel because there are so many people around with such terrible illnesses and mine might appear insignificant.
Sorry to moan.
Linda xx
Don't be sorry to moan - we are all here for each other.
Ruth - thinking of you. I hope everything works out ok. Tell your stepmum we are thinking of her too - what an awful situation. I am not looking forward to Christmas, as it is my first without Gran but she would want us to go on and enjoy life, as she did. At the funeral my cousins all discussed meeting up in the new year for a meal sometime.
Welcome to any newbies, we love seeing new work and wondering could we live to 100 to fit in all projects we have planned. I am hoping to frame up my american stitch tonight to get posted - I know I am late but haven't been in the mood for it.
Hope everyone is well - keeping warm - we have a wee break before it comes back - yikes!
Kind wishes to all

well i got brave and too scissors to the aieda to cut up the 2 cards and 1 small sampler out of the bigger piece of fabric. forgot to iron on interfacing first though. do you think i could do it now? i havent been so brave as to actually fray their edges and stick them down yet!I've read back about 20 or so pages and now I've got to the end, I'm posting. I'm currently in the middle of the mice Christmas stocking that was in Cross Stitcher a couple of months ago (I think). I'm about halfway through and wondering if I'll get it finished for Christmas
hello! well done on reading back any pages, let alone 20!
i think i saw those mice, are they climbing a sewing machine? cute design. good luck in getting it finished, if not, it'll be done for next year anyway!Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. I agree I find it natural to do one side then the other. As you stitchers are all online I thought I would take this opportunity to ask if anybody has a HUG or KISSES chart that they no longer required?0
