ohh goood idea, i prefer flikr.

    Done...

    It's here http://www.flickr.com/groups/1577253@N21/

I made it public, but invite only, so we can keep it to the people who post on here. That means I'll need either your Flickr screen name or your email address to send you an invite to join.

If you haven't got a Flickr account, the invite process takes you through how to get one. It's free :)

  • I've joined! What sort of photos do you want to include? Everything stitching related (inc. wips?) or just our finished pieces?

Yay! I'm no longer billy-no-mates in a group on my own! :rotfl:

It's our group - whatever you want it to be. I say put anything cross stitch or craft related in.

Another question for thread heaven users....

The thread I am currently using seems quite 'fluffy'. There's lots of tiny fibres coming off it as I am using it and it's making me sneeze alot!
Would thread heaven stop this do you think?

I'm surprised it doing this as it's DMC and I have never had this problem before.

    Thanks
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:

Sounds good to me, as I'm doing a number of crafts with wool and thread. :o

Shelly: Not sure as all my DMC threads have been smooth.

have joined you on flickr so look forward to seeing all your lovely pieces. :j I won't be able to share anything until January, i'm hoping santa claus delivers me a shiny new camera - mine broke earlier this year.:(

I'm stitching the snowman design from last month's cross stitcher mag. The one of the snowman under the umbrella. This has been my commute to work kit but I think I am going to have to pick something simpler as there are too many colour changes and too much referring to chart and stupid odd bits of colour here and there oh and 3/4 stitches. Will have a browse when typed this.

am a tad annoyed this evening. ordered a back issue of Cross Stitch Collection (xmas 2010 issue) - the one with the teddy in the santa outfit on the front and guess what the lovely people at future send me ? after taking £5.25 of my hard earned overdraft (:rotfl:) issue 231 of Cross Stitcher. grrrrrrrrrrrrr I have this already as I subscribe to cross stitcher.

Oh and to top it all, I won a cross stitch gold mag (issue 37) the one with Venice on the front cover and the seller e-mailed me today to say that she meant to list issue 47 so haven't got that either :( nevermind, it will hopefully come up again.

off to find my new commute to work project.... and do a bit of stitching :D
