Blimey Louise!! How much snow?!?! I complained when we got barely an inch over the weekend, just glad I don't have to go out in it.

Have ordered some thread heaven so hope it comes soon. Taking more notice today when stitching I think the fibres are coming from the aida rather than the thread but the thread heaven will come in useful because I do get quite alot of tangles. The aida doesn't seem as good quality as usual in this kit but having said that the kit is quite old so maybe quality has got better over the years :D

  • Elliep: Please PM me your postal address for this Stitching Bows and I'll send them off to you.

Might sit down and do a bit of stitching, as I've done my other jobs this week.

I haven't managed any stitching for a few days but I do now have hot running water, and the gas pipe has been moved so I can start to tile my bathroom, and the basin in the spare room now works so I can start to look for a lodger. Thanks to Kevin the plumber who has spent most of the day at my house getting all these things done.
I have finally almost sorted all of the stuff in the house into 'my stuff' and 'nearly-ex hubby's stuff' so that he can come and get it ASAP. When all of the sorting is done then I'll be more in the frame of mind to stitch.

  • Welcome Bella79 to our lovely cafe, we're serving hot chocolate with marshmallows tonight in celebration of those that are snowed in. :o (well I am anyway, though I'm not snowed in...).

Apart from that gorgeous stitch kit that you have your eyes on, are you working on one at the moment? Our group have a challenge list were each member (if they want) can state their challenge for the month (or months) and update us with progress pictures. My challenge is listed in my signature and *Louise* can assign you a challenge number if you want.

We also have a Facebook group and a Flickr group you can join if you would like to share pictures of your work. The details of both of these can be found here:
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=28150715&postcount=1
    (Also has list of challengers).

We are nosy, so do share pictures of your work frequently and chat to us about anything you feel comfy with, as we love to support each other too.

    - Kerry
