Hya folks, just catching up as we have had no internet for the past few days ...seems our ISP had an outage and collapsed!!

Been distracted from stitching over the weekend as have been trying to make a curtain for the kitchen back door to keep out the freezing draughts. I am using two fleece blankets and a towel (to add length and width)...but it is sooo heavy to move!! I ran out of the right colour of
thread, so had to get more yesterday. I will get the rufflette tape sewn on today and perhaps some applique added too, to hold the two fleeces together...IYKWIM. I just hope the rail that DH got is strong enough to hold it!!

Love all the makes everyone...will have to investigate Flikr and joining the group there...but really need to get sewing soon.

In the meantime, here's piccies of my finished X-stitch pictures, all framed and ready to get wrapped and posted...hope they survive the trip to Canada!!

This is for my Dad...Scotland this time!

Sorry for the reflections, will try again for a better piccie...once the sun has gone!

Still not finished the coaster...Louise, I use a design from one of my books...I seem to be doing the same design with a differenet initial in the middle...here's ones I have done earlier this year.

Sorry about the long post! :D

Right off to get some sewing done...keep warm and safe everyone.

  • well i was close to finishing my main November challange..... just the backstitch to do. Also debating whether to leave the purple border as half stitches or make them whole, personally I think I like them as halfs.

however gonna put it down now as I swore to myself to start Christmas cards on 1st December. Luckily I have found 2 (I think) designs that i must have made and had left over from last year so only about 2 or 3 i need to do.
    :xmastree:24 days to go:xmastree:

  • Woke up to 8 inches of snow this morning, but have battled ten miles along country lanes into work. Busy cancelling clinics as no-one can get there apparently! Hoping to leave early though and crack on with my wedding sampler this afternoon.
