sweet carer, i've finally dug up that mag i was looking for for you.... warning! long post!

i've the first ever Cross Stitcher, from Oct/Nov 2992. Bought 2nd hand in the summer, i was only 11 that year! Inside is teddy bears, owls &cats, wild ducks, clocks, anniversary wishes, small wishes, & early xmas and the original free squared tracing paper. So not the one you were looking for :(

BUT i realise why i thought i had what you're looking for, as next to it in my pile is Needlecraft No 31, Jan 1994. THIS has a great big tapestry image of astrological sun and stars on the front of the issue!

:D, just ebay searched the name and number and found it:

    !B9-pF7!B2k~$(KGrHqJ,!iIEzNIFsk(PBM7Vq6KH(Q~~_12.JPG

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEEDLECRAFT-31-Jan-1994-Sun-Cushion-Robin-Blackwork-/250731960754?pt=UK_Magazines&hash=item3a60ca19b2

I realise it's highly unlikely that your mags were stored in the same order as mine, :), so this probably isnt the one you're searching for, but it's nice and i'm happy to scan&email / photocopy for you if it's near enough to match/complement. :D

I am sorry spiral but its not the one - it was a magazine that did all different stitching crafts. I am sure it was an issue one of a magazine. Thanks for your help looking for it.

    Kind wishes

    sweetcarer ;)

i was just adding my new challenge and thought i should declutter my signature... which made me sad as i might forget i actually acheived some of the challenges i set myself! (well, i completed all of them but not all on time!)

So i'm writing a post where i can list them, and other xstitch successes, as a reminder of achievements over the year. I first discovered this Cafe on Feb 17, looking for advice on taking a small kit on an aeroplane. then i kinda stuck around. i know i wouldnt have done half of what i have if it werent for you lot here. thank you.:T  :T

Would anyone else like to join me? Maybe we could make one of those big lists like the challenge list?

I have all my weekly update pics saved not only to photobucket but to my pc too and just incase my pc dies they linked to an external hard drive.
It's quite nice to look back sometimes and see how a design/project progressed.

You know when you read something and you misread it? Well I was just reading the most recent posts when I read this from bikerchick's post:
"Cheapest I've found so far is sew and so at £13.19" and I read it as:
"Cheapest I've found sew far is sew and so at £13.19"

It just tickled me a bit. Just thought I'd share. It's been a long day and I needed a little light relief.
    #19 Save £12K in 2019 challenge. Target = £10,000. Progress = £1136.09/10,000 (11.36%)

I get like that about this time everyday, been sat at a computer all day and got another hour and a half to go :(

Although I must confess I've been looking at wedding invitations and evening bags this afternoon, as I now have my dress so can start the serious planning.

H2b is cooking tonight so hopefully a good couple of hours stitching before bed :rotfl:

I can set up a group on Flickr if you like - we could all post to that and maybe have a link to it in the first post or something.
