    Evening!
I have reached the bottom edge of Rocky point:T Just have to do all the way across to the left now may do it by January:rotfl:if I don't pick my knitting up again. Have been giving my fingers a bit of a rest as knitting the back of my cardi is making my fingers ache as there are so many stitches on the needle that I think I am tense. Now my eyes hurt from staring all night at 18 count, can't win:rotfl:
Tbh I enjoyed stabbing at the aida as I watched the results of strictly and have threatened to make a voodoo doll of Ann Widdecome and she is doing my nut in:mad:

Hope everyone has had a nice weekend and am glad to hear your news 23rd spiral. Am thinking of you and your friend.

While I remember - someone stitched a small 'Meery Christmas' design...would it be possible to have a nudge please? :):):)

    Hi
Am really far behind with posts as I've been on holiday, so just wondering if you still need a nudge on this? Please PM if you do and I'll sort that tomorrow. :)

Back on topic :) I haven't managed any stitching tonight, I went to a perfume party and was very MSE, didn't buy anything but hopefully I found some fundraising for DS's pre-school :)

Ok, I *was* catching up with the cross stitch thread, then got distracted by this one...lol! SO funny. Thanks for sharing!
(typing this under the covers on my iPod as I told hubby I was going to sleep after reading the end of this page. Hoping my giggling doesn't wake him up...)

Sorry I haven't been on much. Not done much stitching, feeling really down about my gran and hubby not helping much. He is !!!!ed off as the computer has broke down. (I am using my work one just now - a friend loaned us her old one and its really old and prone to hanging up all the time). He is also annoyed about the funeral as he works nights he said he will be really tired and does he have to go and if he does do we have to stay long, it is really upsetting me. SOrry for moan. Hope you are all well - hugs to all - hope you are ok.

    Love and kind wishes

sweet carer, i've finally dug up that mag i was looking for for you.... warning! long post!

i've the first ever Cross Stitcher, from Oct/Nov 2992. Bought 2nd hand in the summer, i was only 11 that year! Inside is teddy bears, owls &cats, wild ducks, clocks, anniversary wishes, small wishes, & early xmas and the original free squared tracing paper. So not the one you were looking for :(

BUT i realise why i thought i had what you're looking for, as next to it in my pile is Needlecraft No 31, Jan 1994. THIS has a great big tapestry image of astrological sun and stars on the front of the issue!

:D, just ebay searched the name and number and found it:

I realise it's highly unlikely that your mags were stored in the same order as mine, :), so this probably isnt the one you're searching for, but it's nice and i'm happy to scan&email / photocopy for you if it's near enough to match/complement. :D

louise - no wonder they looked so real, they are real! thanks!

ruth_honey - humm, MSE on ipod? humm, me wanting a new phone more and more now...

sweetcarer - i hope you can resolve your nan's funeral in a good way. hubby probably just doesnt want to be in the way. i know my fiance was nervous about going to my nan's for fear of that. as it turns out he was fine, if rather bored by the end of it. so i can understand you're hubby's perspective. would there be any way he could leave after the service/buffett, but before the real reminiscing makes him feel left out /tired and grumpy? BUT leave you there for as long as you want / need. i'd hope people would understand if he had to go due to work commitments.

UPDATE - i've given up with the little doves, too irritated. nearly didnt start another project from a magazine for fear it wont chart right. (remember i also found the patchwork heart was wrongly charted too).

anyway, so i've set myself a new challenge. might be a little ambitios for me, esp considering i've sewn decorations to make everyone too, oh and the little fact we're trying to move BEFORE xmas  ... but i'm wanting to stitch a robin card for xmas for my parents and also a little xmas robin sampler card for us. they're both from recent Cross stitchers so fingers crossed they'll be ok! so as they're for xmas, that's my deadline. eek!

    Hi Ladies.

    Here's my weekly update pic...

    Last week,

    This week,
    Photo-0007-3.jpg

As you can see I have done some backstitching this week. I wanted to get it done on the stitched section before I scrolled the frame because I don't like leaving it all till the end.

oooh bikerchick i love those cups where did you spot that if you don't mind me asking.

Cheapest I've found so far is sew and so at £13.19
    It's called 'red crockery'

It will be perfect for my kitchen which is white and black as I have a few things with chickens on, clock and towel rail, but didn't want to do a 'chicken' cross stitch.

Had a marathon stitching session last night as h2b was on nights so sat down at 5 o'clock and stitched until 11. I'm now about half way through my wedding sampler, so might have to order it tomorrow (pay-day!)

I know I already have about 20 kits waiting to be done, but I NEED this one first :o
