oh sweetcarer, i'm so sorry. *hugs* we're here for you if you'd like to chat. i lost my gran on dec 29th last year and still miss her so much. she was such a big part of my life and i helped care for her in her last months. its corny i know but stitching helped me fill the time each week that i'd usually have spent with her. *hug*Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. i'm very confused. i've just stitched a little motif for the doves from the last Crossstitcher mag and it DOESNT FIT in the hole in the dove
i mean by a good 2 stitches, so it really doesnt fit.i've checked the chart a few times, and counted the chart and my stitching and both have used 14 squares accross... there are a few stitches i wasnt sure about whether they were halves or fulls, (i did them as halfs) but that shouldnt make a different should it?
PLEASE could someone with the mag check the chart for me? its the blue flower thing second to the left on the bottom. do you count 14 accross? Thanks in advance!
my camera isnt talking to my puter at the moment, so i cant post a piccy and REALLY need to leave for work, i'm going to be late as it is!Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. I know how you are feeling - my Grandad died on Monday afternoon. He has been ill for a while so it wasn't unexpected, just a bit of a shock when the news comes through.:(
I hope you and the family are okay and funeral arrangements are going smoothly. If you need to chat, just give me a shout

Have you used the fabric provided in the kit? If not then is your fabric a different stitch count than the stuff in the kit? That's the only suggestion I can think of...0
