I can't help with recommendations but just wanted to say that if you shop at tesco you can subscribe to some xstitch mags with vouchers. Get them while they are still wirth X4 though!

i'm neverrrrr gonna finish this. was gonna pick it up when ds went to bed (7pm). ate my tea, did the monthly shop (from the sofa) and now look at it......... half past 9 already!!!!

Hi All

Using computer briefly - the insurance picking it up Monday - bought a cheap one (£60 on Ebay - just a very basic thing to keep us going). Hopefully it arrives soon.

Here is an update on the american anniversery stitch - I know I am late for their anniversery but hey its the thought that counts and they still will be surprised when they get it.

Oops, my mistake You're right, I was thinking of those sites with subscriptions for 1p.


Hardly any stitching done here this week, all I have done is finish the bottom border. Instead of stitching I have been sorting out the threads in my ebay bargain kits.
I really must get my current design finished because it only needs a single border at the top and I can then start a new one!

Ohhhh I can see it forming already...:rotfl: Is that all black, or are there various dark colours in there?

Least the pages are quite small, so you will feel as though you are zipping through them:cool:

I did Russian A Level at school (I was bored with French and German!) so I've always been interested in the place. My work is connected with railways, so this is the biggest midlife crisis busman's holiday I could find. And afford :eek:

Birmingham - Vladivostok on 6 trains in 18 days.
