Hi everyone. Just a quick update. I'm fed up of all the confetti stitches on pandora (there are TONS) so I've found a nice patch with lots of big blocks of the same colour. Tonight is the first night in weeks that won't be spent stitching as I'm going out with friends and I'm working this weekend so probably won't get much done then either. But it does mean that I have next thurs and fri off which means more stitching for me - yay! Have a good weekend! :j

  • Morning,

I hope everyone's got a weekend of Cross Stitch planned?

Here's my update on the Robins.

I've fallen in love with all of the dictionary of range. I need to do this before I buy any more, I will be strong. :A

Kessie, they are lovely and your dad will adore them.

kezbabybabe, your sample is looking stunning.

    Everyone's work is amazing.

Before I forget, I'm 29 years old and my friends think it's an 'old lady' hobby to have. But once they've seen the end results they are impressed. [insert confused smile].

Have a great weekend, will report back next Saturday with my progress.

    Lots of love,

    LMC x
  • He he, my BF calls me Granny Mo when I do mine... but like you say, he always likes giving them away as pressies rather than buying things! About this time of the yr he tells me off if I have an evening when I don't do some x-stitich in case he has to go out and buy something!!

    Men eh!

My friends think I am a granny and at the school I used to work at I am prob old enough to be one (I'm 36!) But I don't care anymore. I just like to be creative and cannot sit still without doing something with my hands . Trouble is finding enough time to do all the things I want to do:rotfl: Have just spent lots on wool for 2 different styles of cardi, some gingham fabric to make some hearts, some felt to make some gingerbread men to put on the christmas tree which I saw on the sewing room thread and I still have to get the aida band to stitch the advent calendar as my local shops didn't have what I needed. Add that to the huge stash I already have then I will be happy for a long time:D

Came on these threads to get inspriration to finish stuff but have learnt to knit and do other things since so my UFO stash is now expanding rather than shrinking!:o

I am Thrifty, Proud to be a Creative Granny:rotfl:

Morning everyone :) Our heating system has been replaced - even though it's only October I don't think I've felt so cold for as long in years. Probably would have been easier if I wasn't unwell and if my hubby hadn't thrown his back out :( Anyway, it's so lovely to be warm again lol! Still got lots of tidying up to do, but I've done the important places and think I've earned myself a cross stitch break ;)

Looking forward to catching up with what you have all been getting on with this past week.

Morning all, well I located my missing chart! Its at MIL2B's! So I won't get that back until next Sunday when we visit, so I suppose I could commit to the thread again and make it my November challenge :)

Keeping my sewing bug up and currently sewing the free xmas cards kit that came free with cross stitcher #231. I'm now on the xmas tree and hope to complete them all by tomorrow night :)

Hi all, I'm still ploding along with the ocean scene. I'm thinking of subscribing to a cross stich magazine, but I thought I would ask your opinion of which one?
