so excited, my mum has just told me that we need to get working on my anxiety because she wants us to go to Harrogate knitting and stitching show!!!! Im not sure if I could manage it but would love it, there is a coach trip going locally so she is going to wait to nearer the time and see how we are doing. There is no point though if my money doesnt come through. Now just need to work on anxety because it gets sooooooooo busy there and I cannot ruin the day by going off on one.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member No 2 :j

23rd Spiral - sorry to hear about your job, not knowing must suck
Keiss - sorry to hear about your asthma playing up, must be awful but like your optimism about being able to knit- wish I could do it without looking.
Bubbles - nice to see you posting again, nice thing about Harrogate show is that if the inside becomes a bit too much you can get a pass out and have a walk in the park opposite or a trip to Bettys tea room
Louise and Myz nice pics. Also liked the blue tit one but can't rememeber who posted that one.
I have just taken lots of photos of my recent and older works to put on photobucket for you all to have a nosy, have taken them off my phone but can't remember my password for photobucket! They have sent me a reminder but it hasn't arrived yet. I notice that I have now got a medal for talking so much but still not sure how to post a pic straight onto here. Could someone give me instructions please and I will put the more recent and current ones on.Cross Stitch Challenge Member ?Number 2013 challenge = to complete rest of millenium sampler.0 -
Message for Nmm
I have to admit I have only just marked up the black aida today with the white pencil that supposedly washes out in cold waterI totally forgot all about it until digging through my stash box I came across the aida.
Anyway, have marked a few pieces and I'll try to remember to wash a piece out every couple of weeks.
I have to say though that first impressions aren't fantastic. I scribbled on a piece and rinsed it out immediately just to see what happened and not all of it came out. That could be because I scribbled on the fabric and not just 'dot' marked it like I would if I was stitching on it there and then. Though if I was careful when marking the fabric the chances are the stitches would cover the white mark because it's quite a soft pencil and you really do only need a dot.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's not a kit the one I'm doing, but it's in a book I have so if you want the chart, just send me a pm.
23rd Spiral, sorry to hear about your job. Our guys are better off by the sounds of things with how it's been dealt with.
More stitching tonight, but I've got a couple of things online to do first.0 -
Louise. If anyone can finish the Map of Europe by the end of November, it's you
Well done witchwoopiggy on getting Hogwarts crest done. Don't forget a pic!
Myzdamena. She's coming along great, really cute.
Those of you that are feeling unwell, I hope you feel better soon.

I'm sick, just realised I am 2 colours short for my xmas stocking so either going to have to wait until I find somewhere round here that sells them or do an order online. Seems daft doing an order for 2 threads though, might have to find something else to order too lolBABY SOPHIE BORN 14/08/08Cross Stitch Cafe member No:37

right have sorted it now I think. Some of the pics are a bit orange as I took them at night and my phone camera is not so good. Some are the same as before but are when they have been framed and some are knitting projects.
Hope you like them

Hello, can I join you for inspiration? I'm Alex, I'm 32, two children under 3 and I've just gone back to work from Maternity Leave (only 3 days but it keeps me busy). I've usually got about 4 projects on the go, this is my current one

It was for my BIL and SIL wedding in July... So I really need to get a shift on! Have decided mid November as a finish date... Wish me luck! No fractionals, but blended colours and a lot of backstitch! Michael Powell is one of my faves, such lovely pictures this is the third one I've done.
