Thanks. I've got a few white things that are losing their brightness, so instead of buying that Oxi action crystal white stuff, I'm now thinking just get some dyes and change the colour totally.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

The purple looks great!:T
I treid that oxi stuff on whites and it didn't make much difference. Also tried Glo-white sachets and they were rubbish as well
Anyone know any whitening products that actually work? If not I'm back to buying more white tops lol.Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Love the purple clothes, a great result! :T:T
I at last found a square picture frame for my Dad's crimbo pressie...have decided only to give him one (First Post) atm, and will get the other (Early Shift) done next year for Father's Day/Birthday in 2011...this means I am more likely to get everyone else's presents made in time!! It also keeps the costs down
The guy in charge of the shop where I got the frame from, will cut a mount and frame the stitching, and only charge for the mount!! I hope he does a good job, but he has done it for others, and they looked good.(recommended by a friend).
I'll post a piccie once I have washed and ironed it, then another once it is framed...taking it in on Monday. Feeling good that one present is done, should get another finished over the weekend....starting to get going with everything now. Just have to not try and do too many things!!!
Had a look at the new WoXS...nothing struck me...got the XS Collection instead...it has a lovely Golden Retriever picture...one for next year, but I have been looking for a good chart for ages, so really pleased...also love the Xmas Angel...though not sure if I know anyone who would want it, though I'd love to make it, I think!.
Right, tea is ready...then an evening of stitching ahead :j:j. Off to Grand Designs at the NEC tomorrow really looking forward to it. A day out with DH...and no pressure to buy anything...just get loads of ideas!!

I managed to do a little bit last night, even though other half was round last night, so that's a bonus, will I get some done tonight though, that's the question. Luckily he's cooking, so that's one less thing to do...0 -
i really like the purple shirt -i think it now looks better than in white!
i'm feeling a bit sorry for myself. would you mind awefully if i have a bit of a moan? my OH is away for two weeks, returing on thursday, but he's out of phone signal range in deepest darkest Romania. harumph.
i did have great plans for today and this weekend = nottingham window shopping & eve with old uni friends, then leicester sat for markets and snibston discovery museum for a quilt show on the way home...
but i woke up ill with a thumping head and a runny nose and have spent the day 1/2 asleeep, 1/2 under a blanket watching old TV recorded XFiles. Only managed 1/2 a grid sqauare on the swallow xstitch before my head thumped too loud to read the pattern.:( harumph.Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Not posted much recently, but I've been stitching like fury !
I stitched Mickey for a 6 y/o girl with a life-limiting illness who is going to Walt Disney World in Florida:
This is my Kokeshi doll, using a pattern sent to me by one of you kind ladies (so sorry I can't remember who). I'm making a scrapbook from my trip to Japan and this will have pride of place:
This will be my first Christmas card. The snowflakes are stitched inone of those shiny threads (hell to stitch with) but doesn't show up on here :
Need to carry on with Christmas cards for a few weeks now.

Oh no...hope you feel better soon. Feel free to rant anytime. It does help.
I still have a white version of that top (another duplicated bargain from Mum!), but I will probably dye it another colour now. More fun!
Anyone watching 8 Out Of 10 Cats? It's the one I saw being filmed a few weeks ago! (channel 4+1 @ 11pm if you want to watch later) I'm sat right on the far end of the front row by Tim Minchin!
Almost forgot to add-finished stitching the little 'Meery Xmas' kit today. Will post pic over the weekend.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27
