I did my first ever bit of mixing strands last night and it looks ok so fingers crossed will get a bit more done tonight.

Hi Ladies.

Just wanted to share a Blue Tit with you! :rotfl:

I got it done today and have modified it quite alot compared to the chart but I am really pleased with how it's come out. It doesn't have legs yet but will do at some point...lol



The colours haven't come out great because we don't have much lighting in the lounge but you get the general idea.

I've done the centreing lines but as there are 12 individual characters the instructions recommended tacking guidline boxes to postion them and to help line up the words too.

I started my 'fanciful fairy' last night (No1 Crosstitcher, issue 227) was going to use evenweave but I had some snow glitter aida which, quite frankly, I have been dying to use, as it's gorgeous so it's got itself a job

Wow I love that aida I haven't seen anything like that before will definitely be keeping an eye in future! That's very impressive for one night's work!!

I have to confess that I was at my mums yesterday afternoon so got an extra couple of hours 'daytime' stitching done :rotfl::rotfl:

I am ashamed to say I haven't worked much on my HAED since May/June but here is a progress photo as of today.



I did however do this one this month.

poppet: your daughters cross stitch is lovely. She has done it very neatly. Where are you going to put your 'keep calm' picture? Your ufo looks very complicated hope you get back into it.
