Wow Louise...wonderful, you are sooo fast!
I hope/plan on getting some sewing done this afternoon when I get back from being a student (at my work). Think I deserve it...been manic all week, and it's only Wednesday!
I really must sit down and get my Christmas projects sorted...after all there are only 108 days to go :eek::eek:
And on that note she skulks off quietly, trying not to panic......:o

Hi ladies, sorry I havent been in the cafe for a while - but do you mind if I pull up a chair - I have started a large (for me anyway!!) cross stitch on black (aargh) aida and feel I might need some encouragement when the going gets tough!! - Which it already has as stitching with 3 strands instead of 2 and mixing colours- omg - I wish I'd seen the instructions before I bought it - lol. I will hopefully get a picture of what I am doing soon.0

Ah, every one is alive again!
Why have I lost my stitching mojo?
Hope you're all ok xx0 -
Hi ladies.
Louise. Love the Meercats!
I seemed to get quite a lot of stitching done today. A whole sunflower!Doesn't sound much but they are quite fiddly, lots of fractional stitches.
Also this evening I have spent what seems like hours looking at pictures of Blue Tits on google and deciding how I am going to modify the ones on the design. I have decided how to change the chart and made notes of the colours but will probably change my mind by tomorrow :rotfl:
On another note.....I suddenly got a dodgy tummy a short while agoNot sure if it's something I ate for tea or nerves getting to me already about starting the new job next week.
I am scared of doing myself a mischief (being overweight I have back, knee and hip problems) and having to leave the job. I really want this to work and bring some money in again.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

Hello!
Hope everyone's well! Been sooooo busy lately haven't had chance to do much stitching! We currently have no inner walls, floor, toilet, bath or sink! I have also done exactly what I didn't want to do and that's start a new cross stitch before finishing my UFO's grrrrr!
My mom has decided that she wants this for christmas now
http://www.johnsoncrafts.co.uk/shop/info_DWWIL4.html
which is nothing like the poppies that she originally wanted or the wild flowers that she then changed her mind to!
It's nothing like I have ever done before - so far I haven't had to do one half stitch which I am quite pleased about! Bit worried about the detail around the edge but I haven't got that far yet so will worry about that at a later date!
Love the meerkat cross stitch it's ace! Can't believe that Christmas is only 15 weeks away! Just hope I can get it done in time!!Keep on comping!
