Thank you for the welcome :)
I am an oldie when it comes to forums, so it wasn't a case of 'how to' post pics, rather than, 'when can I' post pics lol
    Thank you very much though!

I guess I will just have to hang around a bit more and make a few more posts and see how long it will be before I can post my UFO'S lol

Ah ok - silly ol' me! Told ya I was a fool :p

I think I posted a pic on my tenth post.. if that helps :)

    Hi all,

Long time lurker, first time poster here, but thought if I registered and started posting then it would encourage me to finish off a few of my UFO's!
    Welcome Soulie!

It certainly helped me with my UFOs, I've caught up with the 4 I had, so now my mind is free.

    Grrr...flipping kids

I had my 'Summer Breeze' all pressed and rolled up in a clean towel sitting on my bedroom unit. One of the little monsters has only gone and used the towel to dry thier hands (or something) then chucked the whole lot in the wash basket....of course I didn't realise it was there....

You can imagine my horror when I pulled it out of the 90C towel wash I had just had in the machine!!!!:eek::eek:

The beading and threads have thankfully survived although it is all now crushed to bits. I have it soaking in some water and softener to try and bring out the creases. Will iron it again in a while.

On the upside...am about halfway through page 1 of 'Touched by Magic'. Quite enjoying it so far :)

Thank you for the welcome :)
To be honest, I haven't even touched a cross-stitch since about 2004/5 LOL

My cards and papercrafting really took over after I cross-stitched a few Christmas cards one year, which took FOREVER to do, so I looked in to other methods of making cards, then I got hooked! But I really want to get back in to cross-stitching and maybe free up some box space! LOL

I think I have 3 UFO's at the moment, plus a-kinda-UFO, where I did one stitch, then put it away, but it is a massive project, one which I hope to complete in the next couple of years maybe with a little motivation!!

    Oh.

    My.

    Word.

I'm so glad it survived. I don't think I'd have been responsible for my actions had it happened to one of mine...

Hope you can get it looking brand new again. (At least it's clean now! :rotfl:)
