    Dear Jude,

. Will you be signing and dating them - maybe on the back so that they have a memory of you and their school for ever. ?

    Linda xxx:T

I always sign my work - try to fit my intitals into them some how and date if possible (usually year). Well an artist signs his work so why can't we cross stitchers sign ours.

I have ordered some thread for my anniversery stitches - really feel like taking a break from golden earth - the confetti stitching is doing my head in. Will try and add some pictures of what they should look like when finished - I am amending some existing patterns.

    Kind wishes to all

    sweetcarer ;)

Very cheap aren't they - have you used them before?

I could get all the threads for my photo-stitch for £30 (plus 25 spare..) better than 80p each from the local craft shop...

You can pay by paypal so moneywise it's safe isn't it...

    Oooo what shall I do!

Lots of the ladies here have used that site but i don't know if you can mix dmc and anchor . You could email the lady who runs it to ask they say she's very friendly and answers quite quickly.

    Dear Jude,

what a lovely thought to stitch pictures that are personal to each of your 3 students. Will you be signing and dating them - maybe on the back so that they have a memory of you and their school for ever. ?

    Hi Linda
I'll be sticking small photos of all the children (7) and staff (5)in the class with our names under them, that way they can remember the faces and the names.

One treat (As a well done for getting the job) then boring bill paying is the way to go (How dull!)

Is it the job you want, or is it "just" a job?

Congratulations again :) When do you start?

Just tried googling for a phone number for you but no luck though I did find they have a shop on ebay.....well I am assuming it's the same place. The seller is called acrosstownstitching. Maybe you could contact the seller and ask about mixing the threads?
