Hi everyone *yes very late* I have been lurking and reading for several days and whew finally made it to the end, ok so I started somewhere in the middle!! I am really inspired to finish off a few of my projects that i have been making excuses not to finish. So the plan tomorrow is to take both out work a couple hours and that should finish one and then the rest of the day on the other and the next few days am sure!

I have another question and I am really hoping someone could help me. I generally purchase a couple of mags each month, my treat to myself however I missed the issues last month and am gutted as there is a picture in there I so desperately would love to do. I dont know the name of it I just know she was a fairy/angel and she was lovely. I know that is not much help but am hoping someone may know what I am talking about!! Also does anyone know where the cheapest place is to order both floss and fabric? I am on a tight budget for a bit longer but cant give up my fav hobby!!

Right, off to bed as I now have my sunday blissfully planned out....dvds and stitching! sounds just about perfect

Thank you and I am so glad a dear friend told me about this thread....what a great little home you all have here....

    Hi munchki.

Threads are very cheap from here http://www.across-town-stitching.talktalk.net/index.html
If you see on the left you can click on DMC or Anchor and they are 37p per skein but if you click on offers they become slightly cheaper the more you buy.
    Postage is very reasonable too.

I can't really help with the fabric side because I usually buy kits. Lately our local 99p shop have had some kits in and I have bought them purely because the piece of fabric is a nice size for me and they give you lots of thread which I'll probably use for bookmarks.
Though I asked in the week about buying fabrics and Louise advised acrosstownstitching (the site I have linked to for threads) or sew&so http://www.sewandso.co.uk/

    Hope that helps :)

Mags. I too love the design you are working on, it looks great.

harley. I had the same problem as you! I thought it was a rubbish sale with things only having pennies off then I realised the discount comes off at the basket :D

    Hi munchki,

Just to repeat what the others said, I've stocked up on threads from wimblebees sale.

I have a fab day planned, stitching this morning while the boys watch moto gp, and then I can spend the afternoon watching Nadal :j

Speaking of which, I was gutted to see a cross stitch chart of Federer in the new issue of crazy. Why Federer????
:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:

To be honest, a cross stitch isn't what I'd want to do [STRIKE]to[/STRIKE] of Nadal :o:eek::D!

:rotfl: Totally with you on that one, you have a very good point! Plus I don't think my DH would have appreciated me stitching a Nadal picture and putting it on the bedroom wall :rotfl:

Hi, I've decided I need to finish the cross stitches I've started. I don't have any problems with finishing them, expect for one. It's Dream works 'Calendar Bears', I've had this for a long time and have lost the pattern, does anyone know where you can get the pattern from or will I need to buy the whole kit again?

    Thanks :)
