WIMBLEBEES - check your order status'. my order was all in stock when i placed it (thursday). its not arrived and shoud have been dispatched friday. according to their site it is still being picked and all my aida has been removed. they also have still not responded to my email. to say i am cross is an understatement. they are now getting a strong email telling them to cancel the order, if it arrives without the aida after this i will send it back and they can pay the return postage!! :mad:

Just wanted to say thanks for the heads up about the Wimblebees sale I have ordered loads of threads for a new cross stitch design that I have just finished - I took it as fate that I looked on here just after finishing it and saw the sale notice - it had to be done! Everyone seems to work so fast on here! I still haven't uploaded a picture of my UFO sorry I am so lame! In fact thinking about it I have quite a few! Plus I keep designing new designs and the urge to start a new project is evil! I am trying to resist otherwise I won't get anything finished!

Chickywiggle It looks fab! It still makes me laugh too

The wimblebees bit didn't make me laugh though! you must be so mad :mad: Its such a shame, I hate it when companies do that, you get all excited and then they let you down.
Fingers crossed others don't get let down as well

Well ive done a bit more on my hearts and flowers design and now i should be doing some housework

They've removed some things from my order too - which was a little frustrating considering it was in stock when I added it... obviously!

Is what you're left with still a bargain?

the stuff left i wouldn't have ordered had i not ordered the aida (if that makes sense). Have got a standard tems and conditions email back and that they will reply properly "within 7 days" - will post best bits of it here as they have now updated all the t&c's on theri site:

we now have new Terms & Conditions (see below), and
these replace all previously published Terms & Conditions. NEW TERMS & CONDITIONS JULY 2010

just recieved a proper reply:

As we are closing down we are operating on a minimal staffing level and are unable to offer our usual personalised service. We have also changed our Terms & Conditions to reflect this, and these are displayed on our site.
Our website is linked into our stock management system which is fully automatic and always displays the correct stock levels, the DMC Magic Guide Aida was out of stock.

Your order has been cancelled as you requested and your card has not been charged.

hardly a professional attitude, but what would they care. Can I suggest others who have had instock items removed let them know so they know their system is NOT "always correct"

Oh it looks great Tellmeitsfriday lots of them look very fiddly, lots of stopping and starting, I bet it drives you mad sometimes but it will be worth it

Yeah that makes sense, if they'd had some evenweave left in stock id have ordered other stuff too.

At least they've cancelled it without fuss...

I ordered a nice floor stand *Girlcat broke last one by knocking over last one*. It was only £17 in the end. I think I'd be fuming if they'd removed that and just sent me the other faffy bits I ordered. I don't really need any of the rest, but I had to have it because of the bargain prices (Blush)

Right, now... I must do some work before they fire me!
