Thanks for the tip about Wimble Bees. Just checked my order and two items are missing, despite being confirmed by mail once my order was placed.

Have mailed them, will have to see how long it takes to reply.

Chicky. Thanks for the Wimblebees heads up. I just logged in and it says my order is being picked but when I go into it I am missing a piece of evenweave.
I am going to hold off putting in a complaint until after my order arrives because I don't want them suddenly saying the rest of it is out of stock

I'll also keep an eye on the credit card amount taken and make sure they don't take the full original amount.

I got a reply, but it was just a standard one quoting their new T & Cs. Placed another order for some kits, so will just have to wait and see what arrives

I can't be bothered to send her ANOTHER reply saying "No it didn't" - it would appear it's not just me who didn't get this message, wish I'd got a print screen of it!!

I have been looking on ebay for evenweave so that I could cancel my wimblebees order but the size I want is more expensive than wimblebees.....obviously because it's half price.

I know both pieces of fabric I ordered were in stock at time of ordering because I had to order pieces bigger than I actually needed because the smaller pieces had the 'item currently not in stock' message next to them. I definately looked for pieces that were in stock.

Thinking about it I have decided it's not worth arguing with them/complaining to them if and when my order eventually arrives because they are closing down so don't really care about customers anymore.

Oh well, gotta finish getting tea ready.....see you tomorrow ladies!

I have just got the same mail. I know darn well that it didn't tell me the items were out of stock. Must be a sucker for punishment, as I have placed another order

they must think we are stupid..... I'd post it on the praise/ vent/ warning board but like Shelly said what's the point, they've nothing to loose (unless lots of people cancel orders).

Hi Girls

Not forgotten about you all.

Been off work last couple of days - have a week off - so been tidying up. We plan to work in the garden (amazon rainforrest part 2). Was at my parents and brought home some stuff that got saved from the fire.

Found a cross stitch pictures - looks like the frames are useless so I was thinking of getting new frames - take the stitching out the old ones and give them a wash and put them in new frames - might find them at charity shops cheaply.

Also brought up a ton of magazines that were saved - the plastic box they were in is a bit warpped but the magazines look ok. So will get them all sorted out.

Went to opticians today - I have to get reading/sewing glasses as well as distance. Boo hoo they want at least £250 for them, might trawl the internet for a deal. Got a telling off for not getting my eyes tested for a while - just everytime I go it costs money. Money is so tight.

PS Had a quick peek at the wimblebees sale - didn't see anything I desprately needed - tho there was things I would like. I did see last week when you talked about it at first about the magic aida but I was at work, so no bank card with me to order any.

PPS Well done Ash in getting you Zebra done - just think it would be getting a hug from your gran when you cuddle into the cushion.

Re Wimblebees - I can't even get in to check! A you recall I used OH's emal to set up a new account, and it's now saying that one s invalid and not on their system either. So I don't know if I'm getting a full order, half an order or nowt. Just need to see what turns up in the post....the only thing I care about is that Faery tales chart :happyhear

Btw sweetcarer, just a thought regarding glasses - if you have your prescription, have a read through the health moneysaving section (part of the families board) I was reading reviews about ordering specs online and there were companies getting glowing reviews. Glasses direct was one which I recall, but there were others - apparently they were a LOT cheaper.
