5 years??? That sounds like a challenge to me...:rotfl::rotfl:

I won't be spending hours scanning it lol (dread to think how many pages it is!)...but I shall 'have' to photocopy it and work from that.....so if I was to make two copies 'just in case' one got ruined.....y'know....;):D

Thank you for all the lovely replies regarding where to find fabric and floss! I did check the wimblebees site but sigh, they did not have much of what I was looking for and from catching up and reading on the thread, I think I might be glad I did not order from them anyway. Most of what I wanted was all out of stock and I thought it would be a good excuse for me to try evenweave for the first time.

Still desperately trying to find the angel/faerie chart from one of the mags last month, so cant believe I forgot to get it and thought of it the day after they pulled it off the shelf! Only wanted it for the one pattern. So far no joy so guess it will just be one of those that 'got away'

I really enjoy looking at what you are all creating, you are all really inspiring as I seem to have lost a bit of my motivation on finishing the couple projects that I need to and they are nearly done! I want to start something new (big) and also have 5 very small projects to sort as well, but keep telling myself that I must not and can not start the new things until I finish the the others!!

I really look forward to getting to know you all a little better, the thread really is wonderful and I have picked up so many tips so far! Thank you to you all x

Can you describe it a little more? What type of fairy, or the colour scheme?

I too have had an email from Wimblebees about my pako floss organiser. It to was "apparently " not in stock when I ordered it when it quite plainly was. They are obviously struggling to process the huge amount of orders they must be getting and have mixed the order of the orders up. I got a very nice email and they are not sending my magic marker so will have to get one in town. Will also have to check they don't debit my account. Am very disappointed though.

Enjoyed my sewing class on Monday night, am enjoying my Rocky point, it is growing but seems to be taking a long time and is straining my eyes a bit. Have been at work for the last 2 days and spent 4 hours ironing last night:eek: And the basket is still not empty.:( May try to get a couple of hours in today though!

Nice projects everyone:D (especially Mountain ash, have done 2 of my late mum's ufos and have all her threads, makes me smile now when I go in my baskets and think of the lovely craft she taught me)

Ooh I like that one Chicky, I could do with that in my bathroom :rotfl:

I totally agree about not wanted to used stamped aida, I did a small Christmas card kit once on stamped aida and the picture didn't line up with the holes. I nearly went cross eyed trying to figure out what colours went where! I vowed never ever again LOL. Hope you manage to find an unstamped version.

Sorry you are all having trouble with Wimblebees, I think my order went in a few days behind yours as mine is still showing as being picked. Nothing has been removed yet though, but I guess after all yours it probably will be! As long as I get the Day Fairy I'm not all that mithered about the rest, so fingers crossed!

I'm very close to finishing the Teachers card for DS, hopefully it will be done tonight. I'm starting to change my opinion about doing backstitch at the end, I'm wishing I had done it as I'd gone along now cos the outline of the crayons I have found really boring! That's why it has taken me so long :rotfl:

Anyway, better go do some work! Have a good day everyone x
:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:

I am sure I have that pattern in a chart book somewhere... :) I will see if I can find it x
