Hi everyone, sorry I've not been on for a few days. Well I failed on my June challenge, I think I shall roll it over and make it my July challenge instead. I will finish 1 A4 sheet of my Nightmare before Christmas picture, and finish the card DS has asked me to do for his teacher!

OMG to whoever posted the Wimblebees closing down sale. I am seriously going to have to put my credit card in the freezer!!!! I did place one order so far which I am delighted about. My very first cross stitch was the Lanarte Night fairy, and they had the Day fairy kit for £8 ish. I've bought it to put away. I won't start it yet, but I'm excited to have the matching pair!

Big hello to all the newcomers, and welcome

I've a lot to catch up on so I'm off for a read. I will post a piccy of the teachers card when I've finished. Don't expect anything impressive LOL it's only little but DS likes it. It's from the last issue of Crazy (the one with the crayons). Oooh speaking of which my new issue just arrived :j

Big hugs to everyone, your work looks amazing as always

    Simac xx
:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:

harley1 . . . . Just do it! I ummed and aahed for ages about some of the things I bought, but hey you only live once (we'll just have to live really really long to finish all these kits :rotfl:)

I've decided you lot are a bad influence on me, the phrase 'I stitch therefore I stash' seems more and more appropriate every day :T:T:T

I don't seem to be able to post pictures for some reason tonight. Might be linked to the forum maintenance - avatars have been flaky all day for me too....

Anyway - I've done a little more on Max, my major UFO.

It's called Max in the Adirondacks. The original is a painting by an American artist :

(Edited to add for *Louise* - about two years on this one so far. It'll be back in the cupboard soon for a rest while I work on something smaller :) )
