Tennis again today - currently watching Serena Williams on centre court. Hubby is off so we popping out to the shops in a bit and hopefully be back in time for the Murray match - hubby will take the kids to the park . :)

Littlies are complaining that I am hogging the tv lol but tough - 2 weeks of the year isn't much to ask...and I let them watch 'Timmy Time' earlier before I put my stuff on :rotfl:

Just had the same argument in our house! Well tuff if I've got to watch the grand prix and the England game tomorrow....I am watching Wimbledon today.

Got a bit worried for nadal then, phew!

Picture looks great *Louise*, I still can't get over how quickly you can sew!
:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:

Chicky: Sorry Hun, I don't have either of those in my modest stash. :o

Louise: That cross-stitch looks like a real joy to stitch, some are like that aren't they?

No problems with watching TV here as it's only me. The only problem occurs when they put more than 2 of my favourite programmes on at once, as Sky+ can only do two channels. :(

I've had a lovely day out in my garden stitching today, enjoying the peace and quiet, as everyone seemed to be out, so I just listened to nature for a change. Here's my cross-stitch progress so far:
    36736_401026281970_582306970_4780674_2749499_n.jpg

I've actually managed to start in the top left corner after this picture and begun the text along the top and I'm also doing the back-stitch as I go along to finish it up.

Oh a big thank you to whoever it was that first showed my 'in the well' stitching, I've taken this up with this one and it gives you more room to get the stitches in rather than leaving a big gap to consider threading the needle back through. :T:T

Not sure what tomorrow might bring tomorrow, I might very well treat myself to more of the same (while taking a break to watch the F1).

kez........... tis no prob, i decided cats r an array of different colours so i've raided a freeboie kit for some randon colours that fit in very well.

i'd always stitched with my hoop the other way up too till i saw a pic on here.... now upside down is the way for me. much easier......and your thread doesn't get constantly caught on the 'tightner nobbly bit'.
