Thank you, everyone, for cross-stitch stand advice!

I have been working for the past few days on white on off-white background. My IRL cross stitch buddy and I have trained each other to say "wow, look at your progress!" even though we're both super tired of white stitches. ;)
May your needle stay threaded, your stitches even, and may the goddess keep your tangles far away. :)

I'm No36 in a cross stitch challenge I don't quite understand yet, but my goal is to be done all the stitches on my UFO before Christmastime!

    Hi Girls

    Hope you are all well.

I am getting very dispondent about my golden earth - the confetti stitching is driving me up the wall.

I know I have other projects planned - anniversery presents for both sets of parents.

I am thinking of the future and sometime I would like to do the celtic ladies. Does anyone know if they take long to do or if they have alot of confetti stitching in them?

I remember when I first came to this board someone had or were doing them (maybe it was MrsMac).

Oh well back to typing up these reports. Was in shop today before work to get some milk seen some maltesers and just had a wee giggle to myself.

    Kind wishes to all

    sweetcarer ;)

PS Louise you are super quick with your ladies - I did admire it when you were looking for it (maybe another one for my list :) )
:j cross stitch forever, housework whenever :j

oooh err i don't think i'd like all that confetti stitching just a little sends me crazy. She is looking so good though. You can really see her taking shape. Never done a celtic lady so i don't know but they don't look like they have much.

Louise you are really getting through that aren't you, looks like you're enjoying every stitch.

I have been stitching ecru on cream ( a very good match), which is also doing my head and eyes in...done now, so on to some more colour hurray! :j...another birthday celtic knot bookmark in the offing. Will post a piccie once I have finished.

I am taking a sebatacle from my Astronomer (another H&E project) at the moment...full of confetti stitches too. What I have done so far does look good though!! I did get into a brief period of actually looking forward to doing confetti stitches..but have grown out of it at the moment!! I have been busy with smaller projects for the past few weeks...but really want to get at least some Astronomer done over the weekend. This project (which was going to take at least a year or two).....looks like it will take me at least 3 or 4 years to finish...oh well, I am all for a long-term project!! It will look great when I am done...hopefully. I have two more big projects waiting for me to do after that...what a glutten for punishment I am!!

Right, off to get some gardening done before it gets too hot...then the mammoth tennis match and some book-mark stitching this afternoon...bliss!!

PS Fantastic and speedy stitching Louise :T:T
