I did the same yesterday but no reply :(

Wow, what a fantastic match Louise that was! :T...shame someone had to lose. Felt so sorry for Mahut, being made to stay on for the presentation...looked like he was in tears at times! Methinks there might be some form of Tie-Break in the final set brought in now...I would go for one when 15-15 is reached....not many get to that (mind you there has been a 16-14 this week!), but it's there to stop the really long matches. Got a bit of stitching done, but had to do some unpicking, all fine now...should finish it tonight, and will post a piccie. Your lady looks wonderful...I wouldn't mind a nudge-nudge of it sometime. :D

It was amazing wasn't it!!:j I was glad Isner won. Dunno why, I just took a liking to him. Loved how they done a special presentation for them all, but yeah, Mahut looked like he would rather be anywhere but there!!

Btw - I have pamperedprincess to thank for helping me find the Lady chart ;)....so if you pm me your email I can nudge it on lol

lots of half price frames (online) but not included on extra 30% off.

Oooo thanks I will have a look, I have a few *cough* projects needing famed :o

Thanks ChickyWiggle, looks great, just noticed though that the Stitch-a-photo kit is down to £14.99, so good for those that like this kind of kit. ;)

cassolete- Confetti stitching is where there is only one or (if you are lucky) just a few squares of the same colour in an area...so you are constantly re-threading and finishing off...you spend so much time preparing rather than actually stitching...can be quite frustrating, but usually gives a great result. :D

Tea's nearly ready...enjoy the lovely evening, still 23 in the shade here!! ...there is talk of 30 degrees on Sunday.... Oh well, most folk will be inside watching some match or other...cricket for me...but isn't there some football about too?!!

Oh! I've been fondly (?) calling those my 'single ladies.' In related news, I'm glad I've found online stitchers! Do you have any fancypants ways of dealing with my confetti single ladies? I've been using a single thread rather than two, and doing two singletons rather than a single double-threaded stitch, and then making a small knot (gasp!). That's only because I don't know better, though. What do ya'all seasoned stitchery folk do?
May your needle stay threaded, your stitches even, and may the goddess keep your tangles far away. :)

I'm No36 in a cross stitch challenge I don't quite understand yet, but my goal is to be done all the stitches on my UFO before Christmastime!

    Morning ladies.

Update time again already. Where this week has gone I have no idea!

Didn't get as much stitched as I would have liked to but I'm not in any hurry to finish so no matter.

    Last week,

Shelly, it's looking lovely, nice colours. I'm so impressed by your perfect stitches, they are so even and perfectly "flat" IYKWIM.

Thanks! I must admit I'm a bit picky lately about my stitches. I do a few then look at them to make sure they look ok, if I see a bad one I unpick and re-stitch.

    Ahhhh *sigh of relaxation*

Everyone else had a good day I hope?

I cleaned all morning then after I picked Ds up at 11.30 I didn't have much left to do. Have spent most of the day either watching tennis (gutted for Isner today!) or out in the garden with the kids. Just been doing some stitching while the tea is cooking.

Also sold my daughters iCandy buggy/pram system today to a nice couple - £200, they didn't even try and knock the price own, they were so chuffed with it lol. So guess who is having chinese takeaway once the kiddies are in bed :D

Making good progress, should be onto the next section tonight :j

ohhh which one *louise*? I am currently lusting after the i-candy pear, not that I have a use for it yet.

well childminder has informed me DS has not slept all day so tea for him and striaght to bed when daddy gets home, and order us a pizza (or 3). then snuggle up with my stitching (hopefully).
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
