and here is this weeks not a great deal of progress
looks like loads to me, i'd be pleased!
:j:jjust thoght I'd share my exicting news.... I have finally been discharged from the hospital after 3 horrible outpatient weeks and back to me again!!!!!!! YAYAYAAYYYA:j:j

The bad news............ back to work tomorrow  so less time to chat.
Please try not to talk tooo much or I'll have to spend my evenings catching up again and have less time for stitching. :D

:T that's really good news, though shame you cant stay off work for a bit recovering from being an outpatient! :rotfl:
i'm going to be very busy till the end of the month and after that will probably be doing overtime so will have to second the motion for less chatter!
feel abit down today but im not sure why which makes it worse :(

it's really coming on:). dont worry about the cause, it could be simply that you havent had enough B vitamins this week! hope you feel better soon. :)

Update: i've recieved my quilt square and have made a start, but the pattern is actually quite confusing so when, after only half an hour stitching, my oh put on a film mostly in foreign, meaning i had to read the screen, happily i couldnt do any more stitching anyway! great film but couldnt really say why IFSWIM! sorry, it was called The Kite Runner.

I want to make a cross stitch picture of an opera singer for my d-i-l, who is one. I can adapt a picture of another singer if suitable. I am finding it very hard to find any charts of singers. Lots of instruments yes but no singers. I will pay if suitable chart exists.

hi, i've got a small chart of a BrunHilda type opera singer - all bust and pig tales! its from a 1970s book of sampler components so might not be what you are looking for at all though. i could scan and email you if it's the right sort of thing, as it's old enough to be out of copyright.

Hope you don't mind me popping over from the card thread :)

Can anyone recommend a good place for coasters to take stitching please? I need quite a few so cheap is good :rotfl:
Have seen a couple of sellers on eBay but not sure if they will be ok for stitching.

Fantastic projects - I really admire you for doing such big designs and anything that involves French knots :D
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Paddingtindoo Hi I know someone who has used this seller for buying coasters and keyrings to put stitching in and she says they were perfect for it
