    Chickywiggle good luck on reading all the discworld books . My sons have those but they won't part with them i just asked. His actual response was i'd sooner go shopping naked in asda than give up my books . Think that was a no then. lol He got quite a few as gifts but did get a couple of job lots really cheap on ebay.


    Louise that really is beautiful. I'd love to do one just like it.

    who needs that as an excuse..... never said mine was for my DS. saw some lovely afghan safari picture chart books on ebay earlier :D

    I actually want one so i can stitch all my fav little pics onto it, a right jumble blanket.

    Sister's fince is quite taken with my stitching and wants me to teach him how to do it - have found the perfect small pic he can stitch and put birth details on for the baby :)

    ohhhhhhhhh that is AMAZING and made me more determined to do one, hope my ebay sales go well next weekend then I can treat myself, can't believe how expensive it is just for the cloth!!

    I sense a bidding war for the ones on ebay.... race you.....


    on a diffferent note I have decided Discworld is my next set of books to tackle so if anyone wants to get rid of any.....am fed up of read it swap it at the mo no-ones accepting any of my swaps!!!! If anyone has any of the series (apparently there are now 30+ ARGGG that'll take me a few years) and would like to check out my RISI account (I have the shopaholic set to go on at some point if you wanted them) or if you can do em at postage cost let me knowwww PLEAASSSEEE
    (I have tried freegle too but no luck there yet).

    Ahh but you have your DS as an excuse.... Having an afghan lay where ever is just going to look odd for a 29 year old couple,
    unfortunately I can't see a way of having one and it not look odd....I keep trying to think of what I could make it into so it would look ok
  • evening all well done louise it looks fab wish i had me one of those lol,
    mrs toast i love those colours
    not done any stitching for a couple of days now, am going to snuggle up in bed in a moment, because hubby is going to play the playstation and get some done will post update tommorrow, hope everyone is well and chicky think i will join that site i have about 30 books i will never read and about 400 i want to read but dont have !!!

    :j:jjust thoght I'd share my exicting news.... I have finally been discharged from the hospital after 3 horrible outpatient weeks and back to me again!!!!!!! YAYAYAAYYYA:j:j

    The bad news............ back to work tomorrow :mad: so less time to chat.
    Please try not to talk tooo much or I'll have to spend my evenings catching up again and have less time for stitching. :D
