I must admit, I have given up on various threads because of the attitude of some posters.

Best to stay here and on other threads where there is a lovely atmosphere...this is certainly one of the best I have found so far!

Have you thought of reporting the said perpetrator to one of the board monitors (or whatever they are called)? Might be good for the pesky poster to get a telling off from someone in authority, perhaps he/she can be silenced for a while! :silenced:!

I am all for free speech, but not when it means being nasty to someone and bullying them...just not on :mad:.

So, sit down and have a cuppa:coffee:, and I will join you:coffee:....(well a bottle of water ), and maybe a piece of cake :bdaycake:, sorry, I can only find the birthday cake!

Bubbles - try not to let it get to you. There are always a few twonks on every forum who like to imagine that they are superior to everyone else.

It's sad really that their lives are so empty that they have to resort to picking arguments with pople on a forum.

don't let them grind you down Bubbles. Some of the other parts of this forum are downright nasty.

I posted a grabbit for someone to put "well its probably only your store"........ hang on - i listed MY STORE in the main post - i never once said it was everywhere!!

I also posted asking for help on my DS who was being a pain to be basically told i was an unfit mother and they wished they could report me to social services!!

Hey bubbles don't let people get to you. I only post on this forum now because it's so friendly. By the way, I forgot to say yesterday that your angel is beautiful.

I didn't do any stitching last night as 2 of my children appeared for their tea and didn't leave until late. It was nice to have them home (nice when they left too though :rotfl:as I was shattered and not used to staying up late). Will definitely get going tonight though - only 3 days left to end of April:eek:

As people kept saying to me it might change when its finished. Im having a similar problem, I changed the colours of the flowers on my angels border and did a whole section complete only to decide I didnt like them so going to unpick them.

Actually you got the whole story about the dog wrong , all the poster did was point oput that the sun newspaper hadnt got their facts right

Actually the whole condescending attitute of the poster was the problem. There are nicer, more polite ways of getting a point across that doesn't involve hurting someone's feelings.

And with that in mind, and trying to be nice: Please leave her alone on a thread where she can feel relaxed knowing no one will have a dig. We don't have arguments or nastiness here and we certainly don't want them dragged over from other threads.

Hear hear Louise I second that some people are so ignorant and rude and should not be allowed to post where they can uspet and hurt peoples feelings.
