Have been lurking around the HAED site and really like this one (fingers crossed link works) I know it will take me forever and will probably drive me mad but it is for me and not for anyone else for a change - any thoughts (and any idea how many years it will take me?)

Haven't bought it yet though! Just really tempted

Awww Ruth_Honey, I'm so sorry to hear all the bad things you have been going through. Big hugs to you, and a big WELL DONE for having the courage to question your dad, it must have been a very hard thing for you to do.

Was going to send you one of those weird looking hugs but I can't find the icon! No wait. . . . I found it :grouphug:
:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:

LOL - that explains why I am already a follower on the blog you linked to!!

I was on the cardmaking thread for a while, but haven't made any since before Xmas due to concentrating on the lake pic :)

Lelc - I was a little dubious earlier but now I have seen it I reckon you will be able to get away with it. :D

Mainly because if you look at the right and the bottom, there are fish cut off there anyway, so it won't look odd if the back of the orange one is missing.

It would have been weird if it was the front of the fish :rotfl:but I honestly think it will look fine, no one but you will know.

Thanks Louise. Having looked at it again I think you're right so I'll just carry on and stop when I have to. I think I just panicked when I realised what I'd done.

Nay mind - I'll be more careful in future.

I think it will look fine no matter where you and up stopping as there's "bits" of fish all around the edge so it won't look weird. Its a lovely picture/ chart. Looks to big for me to want to tackle tho.

Ruth- dont feel bas about going off topic, were all here to help, as many say this is the friendliest thread on MSE. Hope your starting to get things sorted out a bit - in your head i mean, and that you'll be starting to cope better soon.

Its sailly things that make you remember the people you've lost, just using a DS reminds me of my aunt cos i was one of the people who helped her decide to get one, and she used it to pass the time when she was bed bound.

Ive not done any backstitching today and hardly any yesterday, im getting sooo bored with it, hopefully tomorrow i'll be in a better frame of mind where i'm up to doing more.
